We have all been waiting for a very long time in order to get hands on experience with the Microsoft Surface. MS Surface is a unique interface which allows you to handle images, etc on a touchscreen table. You would just need to move your hands in order to group or view your favorite images.

In my opinion, the MS Surface is one of the classiest gadgets to0 be released till now. The gadget can be used in hotels, offices, art galleries and many other places where a visual medium needs to be used. The latest version is called the SecondLight or Version 2.

You could, view city maps and other content easily which means, you would not have any difficulties in organizing your plans in a new city, The MS Surface’s version two may cost $10,000 and is certainly worth being bought. Moreover, $10,000 isn’t a lot of money when it comes to all the utilities this product provides. I would say, just get it!

Any device that has a touchscreen to go along with it adds a lot of value to the both the gadget and gives plenty of value for money to the consumers. Having a mobile with that exact same feature allows me to say that the interactive screen experience is a lot better than the boring old buttons. Then there is the added cool factor where every time you see that people are watching you, you can just take out the little pointed stick and go about acting if you are seriously busy. Now Microsoft wishes to extend this technology to mass computers. If everything goes to plan, Surface Computers my not be far off.

Microsoft is in the process of developing OAHU Multi-Touch Device that comes with cool new features such as fixed location, allows 4 people to use all at the same time and even looks like a casual table which has a screen around it. Then it also carries the ability to work as well as any of your normal PCs with an ability to integrate with external hardware. The device can be operated with hands and Microsoft has been constantly exhibiting prototypes in the popular conventions.

Priced at around $1,499 (rumored), the new technology could soon become very popular and the way Microsoft see it, could be their next big boom. Now I hope the boom comes soon enough before we go deaf waiting for it.

Ages have passed and we have been living with a hidden belief that we should discard those disturbing arched CRT screens and TVs, but Microsoft (being a mogul) has a different viewpoint this. Having unveiled fancy Surface touchscreen table; the mastermind now wishes that it’s time to move back to curved displays sporting complete 360-degrees of imagery. Featured after the jump (video running above) is a Surface Sphere prototype, a colossal ball that is accessible via company’s Surface technology but applicable this time on a globular interface and display. Comparatively advanced technology and hardware is required to run the Sphere as idea is to warp the pictures along with the interface so that it offers quality visibility when projected onto a dome.

As a ploy, there is a possibility that these cool applications may have potential to develop an interactive globe (as functional in the running video above), hence putting you across various permutations to device 360-degree videos and panoramas.

How true is the saga of Microsoft initiative all set to take further its SideWinder brand revitalization that got commenced with the mouse and now anticipating the release of a keyboard by falling September? Perchance, the SideWinder X6 appeals to be a quite interesting keyboard sporting red (conceivably radiant) keys, a hook-on num-pad, programmable keys plus two colossal bulges on its right. We are the vouching the possibility of its knobs being programmable, hence enabling us to revolve throughout your artillery or spool through your iTunes playlist. Folks, you have no choice but to wait until September to test it’s whether this $79 keyboard qualifies as a SideWinder or no.

Offering a complete stability of portability and usability is the Wireless Arc Mouse from Microsoft that is anticipated to hit coming winters. There effort to conceal the news about the product until its launch go waste as the word has already got leaked from MaximumPC. And we are not inked any contract with them to follow the embargoes but are more interested in breaking news for our geeky audience. It’s clever design that creases up for portability and widens out for dexterity. Priced at $59.95, it is a valuable update to the pool of travel mice we have come across so far.

While no information on technology involved, we have lost our heart to its bleeding deep red color. If red doesn’t matches your taste then free feel to keep your hands upon black and white version but still months away.

Till date we have been welcoming futuristic creation of homes by various designers. How about lending attention to Microsoft’s reflection of the “Home of the Future”? A software company took it as an opportunity to create a mock home that fits well the title of technology-driven home for tomorrow. The home erected at their campus in Redmond, Washington is now 15 years old but the topical restoration sports Microsoft’s prophecy of how household electronics and amenities should look and can look in coming years.

Through the mock model, it has been clearly conveyed that everything in this home runs on a central network together with cell phones and even home’s doorbell located as nodes on that network. The entry of family members to the home is easily identified by their mobile devices and hence they receive a warm welcome. Equipped with the RFID factor, virtually everything in this home is embedded with radio-frequency-identification technology. There is also a possibility of installing a system, which understands the need for scattered things to go back where it belongs. At kitchen front, while pulling out the needed appliances and ingredients, the “smart kitchen” can sense what they are about to make and hence helps them by enabling the countertop display the recipe.

But this is not all. In order to maintain its exclusivity, Microsoft’s future home does not consist of walls and surfaces covered with PC monitors and screens.

Check out the video:

Interesting insights:

If you happen to be a part of PETA or feel strongly for any other animal protection group then possible this is not the best post to read. It is not because animals are butchered to design such products but the reason is simple: It won’t smell good to you. Lately got unveiled is the distinct Xbox 360 that looks like it just edged its way out of the Everglades.

The alligator-themed 360 is comes layered with a lizard-textured skin and substitutes the power switch with a realistic alligator eyeball. Before you start throwing your tantrum upon me, listen to me completely.

No matter how realistic looks, but no authentic alligators were injured in the making of this console. And the credit for its realistic appeal goes to Xbox 360 modder dfwmonkie, who developed system’s scaly gator skin using hand-sculpted layers of Bondo with a coat of paint that gives it a lustrous wet look.

Few More:

Ballmer might be hopeful of selling us Microsoft surface this year as in 2007 it made a statement of offering it in T-Mobile, Starwood Hotels, Harrah’s casinos and IGN branches by winter. But it seems tables have turned now as Microsoft has inked a neat deal with the US mobile carrier AT&T, who is taking pride for being the first retailer for supplying the touch-table in stores across New York, San Francisco, Atlanta and San Antonio. Microsoft surface table will be unveiled on 17 April.

The tables will be installed in a manner so that the minute you put a phone over it, it’ll automatically call all info on that exacting model. It gives access to you for buying ringtones, graphics and videos by spanking your phone on it. This $10,000 Microsoft toy is an opportunity for you to buy that ironic Mister Mister ringtone that you have dreamt of getting always.
