One person who will always remain larger than life, even in death, is pop legend Michael Jackson. The world has seen him rock  them with his music, dance, charisma and eccentricities. We have seen how hard his fans are trying to keep his memory alive, and frankly, we do not have a single doubt in their effort. His clothes and CDs were auctioned. In fact, he also earned a documentary ‘This Is It’ which saw packed houses for everyone wanted to see MJ in his last days, preparing for his much awaited comeback that sadly never happened.

Well, now it is a 3D version of the singer that has got everyone to sit up and take notice. Truth is that when alive, Jackson had taken 3D scans of his body with a hope to build a virtual reality body double for himself. And this very 3D scan data has been put on sale on eBay by an anonymouse person from the US with a claim that these belong to the 37 year old MJ of 1996.

London’s O2 Centre saw a number of Michael Jackson memorabilia being displayed and exhibited. His prized possessions were on display for his fans and lovers who flocked to the centre from all over the world.

A horse carousel, toys, a crown, a throne and numerous portraits were amongst his personal belongings which fans could see in a rare chance. Some of the other exhibits included the rocket ship that was used in his Leave Me Alone video and also the zombies from Thriller. After his death, interest in Michael’s life and his souvenirs have taken the world by surprise and even belongings that are mundane have become priced collectibles and cost millions of pounds.

In death his personal belongings rake in millions, auction after auction. For, his global fan following sets him a class apart. The iconic crystal-encrusted glove of Michael Jackson that became a symbol of luxury and a rage among fans, is gone under the hammer for for £44,300, which is approximately  $70,144.

Michael Jackson had worn the white glove with tiny lights at his 1984 tour selling in the Profiles in History auction at Calabasas, near Los Angeles, for £44,300, approx $70,144.

The piece was one of the two made for the singer by Ted Shell, with shinning bugle beads and Austrian crystal rhinestones. It had as many as 50 tiny lights drawing power from nine volt battery in the cuff.

Michael Jackson was indeed planning for a huge comeback for himself. But unfortunately, as we saw, life doesn’t necessarily go the way we planned it. Now we are hearing that the pop legend was involved in talks with famous designer Christian Audigier to start a collection of his own. But his sudden death left things mid-way and now his designer friend has decided to make his dream come true.

Apparently, MJ was able to design 100 patterns that included a pair of rhinestone socks and a rhinestone glove. He had been working on these with Audigier ever since 2007. Plans were to launch it with Jackson’s ‘this is it’ comeback tour.

The latest tribute comes from a company called Hot Toys as it launches a 1/6th scale collectoble figure of the star. This MJ doll is reminiscent of his look in the famous record-breaking Thriller music video of 1983.

Not just that, the toymaker has ensured that the horror theme from the video is maintained in the toy as well. Each collectible figure comes with 2 interchangeable heads, one of MJs and the othet of a zombie, plus there are the 2 different costumes (including the one in red that we see Jackson wearing in the video) that you can dress up the doll in. The doll is brown like MJ’s orginal skin color, which is a good thing because kids today think that the singer was always that horrfying shade of white.

We are informed that Jackson’s hair is enough to create 10 diamonds which will later be given away to few lucky fans of his in a unique way. The hair that’ making news was collected by the executive producer of the videograoher Ralph Cohen when the singer’s hair caught fire after a stunt went wrong. After having saved the hair for 25 years, he sold it to John Reznikoff, who is known to be a zealous collector of celebrity and historical hair.
