The word Mercedes comes with its own superb stamp of class and elitism. The luxury brand has now come up with a whole new range of golf accessories. If golf as a game itself meant class and symbol of elegance of the super rich, Mercedes is something any top golfer or golfing enthusiast would crave for. The range is available both for men and for women.

Car enthusiasts are forever indebted to Mercedes-Benz for reviving their all time favorite Maybach, which is now better known as a modern ultra-luxury marque. The famous car brand went an extra mile by making the Maybach even more exclusive than the original models that were made between 1921 and 1941. A little bit of online research tells us that less than 2,000 Maybachs were manufactured in this period, of which only a mere 150 survive today in the company of serious collectors.
Once again, the car world is excited as a very rare 1938 Maybach SW 38 Cabriolet surfaced for a sale in Germany. The coachwork of this one has been done by Spohn of Revensburg. And JamesList is responsible for organising the sale of this one at an estimated price of €690,000.

Vintage cars are one of the few things that can demand any price and get it too. In fact, many a times there is a tough call deciding which higher price option to opt for! This time around, Bonham’s auction house is conducting its inaugural annual “Weekend de l’Excellence Automobile” in Reims on September 26. And we are told that a very exclusive 1912 model from Bugatti will be the high point of the auto affair.
The car has had the privilege of Ettore Bugatti as one its drivers at Le Mans and the Mont Ventoux Hill Climb. Other esteemed owners of this classic car also include the Duke of Bavaria and the UK-based classic car engineer Nigel Arnold-Forster. Relying on that very fact it has quoted a price of $3.4 million at the auction.

Cars that guzzle petrol and diesel are passé and no one wants to be seen driving a car that is an environmental disaster. Mercedes Benz is one of the best brands out there who have created cars that are green and environmentally viable even if they guzzle petrol.
They have just unveiled the Blue Zero concept which is affordable, eco conscious, and would run on an E Cell with battery. It also comes with collision support, and the sweeping curve is the car’s defining look. Most concepts make a lot of claims about being terribly functional or extremely outlandish. But the Mercedes Benz Blue Zero makes no such claims ad is based on reality and affordability and the great thing is it works!

The Mercedes-Benz AMG 300 SL is inspirational. In fact, it has led to the developement of a new design inspiration in the form of 2010 Merc-Benz SLS AMG. The new concept will be showcased to the world at the Frankfurt Motor Show this Autumn.
The 2010 version of the SLS AMG takes in a lot from the 300 SL of 1954. However, we can spot the touch of the contemporary in the for of the brisk sportiness. The insides will remind you of an aero plane while the front and the centre infotainment system keeps you occupied.

Now, Mercedes-Benz S-Class has always prided itself on combining great style with the ultimate in safety. Well, that will explaing how most car features that we have learnt to love so much first (and maybe gotten used to) appeared in the top-of-the-line Benz. And from the looks of it, Merc is not willing to let go of its ‘pioneer’ status among luxury car safety. That is whay the special ESF 2009 concept.
This one is based on he S400 Hybrid. Among it very features, you get new airbags hidden in the seatbelts, in between the seats and underneath the car. These help decelerate in case of an imminent crash. The inflatable metal beam add extra crash protection without eating out on some more space or weight.

Have you ever wondered what life is like for all those footballers who have all the money in the world? Well, life for them, is incredibly easy. Take for example the example of El Hadji Diouf, a famous footballer. He got himself a brand new shiny chrome Mercedes Benz SLR McLaren for himself.

There aren’t that many things that can turn grown men into an excited bunch of giggling, drooling boys, but a stupendously designed car can still make them whistle louder than a boiling pot of tea.
Mercedes-Benz, in collaboration with Formula One, has been producing the SLR supercar for a few years now, but with the end of its production due in some time, Mercedes-Benz is going for the big finish. They are celebrating the end of this regime with a special edition SLR Stirling Moss. Named after the Brit driver who won the Mille Miglia in 1955, the SLR Stirling Moss will also be styled after the original 300 SLR that Moss was driving in the race. The Stirling Moss is set to impress with 650hp and powered by its V8 engine it can hit 0-100km in 3.5 seconds flat. With a top speed of 350kmph, the car may be built to disappear in the blink of an eye but you would still cruise by slowly in this baby to show off its sleek and polished curves.

At a forum, we recently found a white chrome plated Mercedes Benz that almost looks like it is painted in gold. However, apart from this, not much is known about the car or why it was painted so graciously. The car is definitely the property of an oil rich Middle Eastern merchant and must be parked outside a luxury hotel in Abu Dhabi or Dubai.
I would say, this gleaming piece of car would attract thousands of onlookers and if you are the kind of person who would look for attention, this is just for you. Perhaps if you visit the forum again, you would get more information when the thread creator posts back. However, the one who posted the photographs did not seem to know the difference between ‘white gold’ and ‘chrome’.
