We had not heard from ST Dupont’s side for quite sometime. The reason is quite obvious. The new product from the pen carries the elegance and charm of Shanghai. No wonder it was so busy trying to capture the city’s exotic magic. This one is a limited edition has been crafted in art inspired by classical Chinese painting all combined with art deco motifs. The stunning collection inclides you Neo-Clssique President fountain or roller pain as well as ink, pen holders, cuff links and even a belt.
We are informed that each of these creations is nothing short of a collectible and has been laid on a layer of black Chinese lacquer. A covering of gold dust lends an elegance that we do not think can be surpassed. As for the belt, several sparkling diamonds adorn the buckle.

We are not encouragers of smoking but yes, we do like to talk about related luxury items, if not for anything else but for the sake of collecting! Well as cheesy as that statement is, let us quickly introduce you to the new S.T. Dupont Place Vendôme lighter and pent set than really made us talk in that manner. This one comes from the makers of the most expensive lighter in the world, so you can very well expected some of that to rub off on this latest product.
S.T. Dupont claims to have combined luxury and homage by etching out the most well-known examples of the 17th Century French architecture all on to a lighter. Apparently, the French firm was most inspired by Place Vendôme; a building originally commissioned by King Louis XIV but now functions as a hub for the most high-end French jewelry.

We think this generation does not have any good memories of pop star Elvis Presley’s sense of style. It’s just the sequined jumpsuits and the large blingy glares that rule our minds. But ask the senior folks and they will tell of the times when Presley had a rather refined aesthetic sense. In fact, the rock and roll icon had a passion for fine British-made luxury goods.
We are talking Rolls-Royce motorcars and lighters from the London-based Alfred Dunhill. And now, the latter has decided to honor one of its most famous clients ever. The result has been an elegant 18-karat yellow gold Apex lighter inspired by the Dunhill models that Elvis owned in his time. It is actually a slim Rollalite model. Part of a limited edition, only 50 pieces of this lighter have been created at the price of $13,000 each.
