There is something really cool about robot and maybe that is because of the influence of movies and pop culture which have always been fascinated by all things that are rooted in science fiction. While robots are no more science fiction and a part of reality, Croatian artist Robert Matysiak has designed these cool Robot Lamps using just plumbing supplies.
The lamps are nuiquely designed and come in many different shapes and sizes. Each of these robots that are made from pipes etc, come with bulbs and they make it look rather avant-garde. The plumbing hardware are rigid and quite unchangeable but the Croatian designer has made sure each Robot Lamp has a character of its own.

The Emotion Lab are a group of designers from 3 different continents and 3 different countries: from Mexico, Spain and Australia. They design concepts that seek to provoke emotions and that which are influenced by diverse cultures around the world. Such a stand always commits to the relevance of the design and that is perhaps what makes them really cool.
Their latest offering is the Room Cone which is part of their Inside Urban Collection. It is inspired by the witches’ hats, which communicate with [people around them. These “witches’ hats” tell people to move away, to not step somewhere and to be careful. Sweating with urban energy, the Room Cone can be used an ambient light source and can be installed outdoors or indoors.

Kawamura Hideo Activity Inc has created these beautiful lamps which are pieces of art whether they are switched on or off. The lamps are called ONOFF because they look awesome whether they are switched on or off. When switched off, the lamp becomes a piece of art and when switched on, it takes a different character altogether.
For instance, a wine illustration looks like an amazing piece of drawing but when you switch it on, it quickly fills up and turns scarlet red. Thus, these lamps would be awesome for houses where you have a normal and languorous lifestyle during the day but as soon as night falls, you turn into something totally wicked!

Mmmmmmm…somehow we can linger in the feeling for a long long time. We are referring to the delight of discovering something luxe that is eco-friendly too. The new status that recycling has acrrived at vis-a-vis the richie richs of the world, is truly amazing. Nowadays, no one scrunched their noses when someone tells them that so and so attractive item has been made from useless objects.
The same inspiration caught on Mexican-Brazilian artist Carolina Fontoura who has now given such a wonderful craft to the world that no one can stop raving about her. What she really done is experimented with old bicycle chains to create luxuriously elegant lamps and chandeliers to suit your high-end decor.
