Pantech Sky DuPont IM-U510LE

We have just discovered that S.T. DuPont, a French company is making a new handset called “Pantech Sky DuPont IM-U510LE” in collaboration with Pantech, South Korea’s largest handset manufacturer. The luxurious phone is inspired by DuPont’s famous lighters, which Pantech integrates as a push-up button with the same cling sound that is produced when the lighter cap opens.

The phone comes with a lot of interesting features. It has a 3-inch touch screen display, a 2G-only connectivity, GPS, a MP3 camera with 3 megapixel, Bluetooth, mobile dictionary, and gold plated edges. The features look appealing but the DuPont phone will be available only for SK Telecom network users. It is very unfair to those who really want to buy this phone. However, around 30,000 of this handset are expected to be sold.

We just came across a snazzy party table called the “Aperitivo Table” designed by Eu Ju Park from Korea. The good news is that ‘Aperitivo Table’ has been shortlisted as one of the 100 best entries for the recent designboom competition, which is soon to begin in callaboration with ‘Peroni Nastro Azzurro’.

Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA) in London will host an exhibition show from September 30 to October 4, 2009 for the shortlisted winners to display their projects. The usual and ordinary square tables or round tables do not quite do a good job during parties when so many people gather around the table to eat and converse.

With Boeing and Airbus busy developing latest models of airliners, a thought evolves where to shun world’s marketable fleets that have minted money till date. Are they supposed to be shunned away? Well, transforming them into fragment metal or retrieving as many old parts as possible is one common argument but it seems an astute industrialist based in Korea cannot settle at anything less than extraordinary. And hence here stands World’s fist Boeing 747 (numbered N747-10) turned into a restaurant and still maintaining its identity of a profitable venture. With no answer to how the aircraft was transported to this site, it claims to accommodate over 150 tables.

You would be glad to know that one of the engines of 747 Jumbo has been rehabilitated to a daily privileged menu so that clients can choose what to order before boring their flight.
Enjoy the distant visit to this airplane turned restaurant.

Pet Pavilion: Luxury Pet House Or Doggie Microwave?
Posted in Designer, Exhibitions, Luxury, Shopping on 29 April 2008

Pet Pavilion

Folks who have a flow of emotions towards their pets would make sense out of the product I am going to put across. Also, I am okay being called foolish from the other lot as the fault is not theirs but interests do make a difference. Pictured above is a seemingly pet microwave that offers a healthy stay to your much pampered pets. Called Pet Pavilion, it is a feature packed luxurious pet house that beats the living conditions of most individuals. It gives you a second choice before inking a deal with the $25000 dog houses. Other features of this pavilion include PC-based incubation process supervision, ideal temperature and humidity limits, an integrated infrared radiation and carbon heating element, an antibiotic air filter for removing dust, a carbon filter for scent and a solenoid regulator for “medical treatment.” For now, there is no information about the cost and availability of this pet pavilion but it would be a must-have possession for all the pet lovers. It would be open for a first-hand feel at the Koreannovation trade show scheduled on 14-15 May in NYC.

Check out the video:

If you can’t want for this product and are looking for a best option for your poochie then make him stay in a $2 mn dog resort (Chateau Poochie) or install a Fit-fur-life treadmill to save your time from picking and dropping him at the resort. Also, Hello Kitty’s creation of $31, 660 dog house is worth picking.
