Sold under YOU ROCK by Marcus Schenkenberg, this collection has several spectacular pieces in black-silver combinations that have been designed by Mayk Holländer though we would have liked to see Marcus try his hand at it too. Holländer has made use of black brilliant-cut diamonds and highlighted those with vividly colored Fiji cultured pearls.

You can choose from black chokers made in leather, silver, knotted silk or stingray leather. These usually sport real sexy pendants shaped after an anchor, a cross, a skull or just highlight a single pearl. Matching bracelets made from black knotted silk adorned with brilliant cut diamonds and Fiji cultured pearlsare available too.

We have said it so many times and we do not shy away from saying it again that ‘diamonds are a girl’s best friend’. This is no exaggeration when brands and creations like the Bagues Boule ring are anything to go by. This $16,620 worth ring comes from the workshop of none other than the immensly talented jewelry designer Edouard Nahum. October is special. No we do not mean because of Halloween but because of a more important reason – it is the breast cancer awareness month. And David Yurman is all set to celebrate it by launching a bunch of lavish pink dog tags for his Women’s Tag Collection. Now, that’s a new one. For one, the “male jewelry type” becomes feminine that too in a shade of pretty pink, which is also the color of breast cancer support.

Montblanc recently brought out a limited edition pen in memory of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, the father f the Indian nation. He is widely believed to be the proponent of Ahinsa, which is the theory of non violence through which he is said to have helped Indians achieve their freedom.

The Montblanc pen comes with Gandhi’s image etched on the nib and the pen itself is carved out of a 18 carat white gold material. The image is engraved with a 18 carat yellow gold wire. The limited edition pens cost $25,000 and many Gandhi followers did not like the idea of Gandhi’s image being etched on a luxurious pen as he was against such “worldly pleasures”.

Nevertheless, Montblanc certainly will strike a chord with collectors and memorabilia hunters and they would certainly pay the moolah to get themselves a pen like this. You never know, a businessman from India might just offer a million bucks after two years iof you buy this pen from Montblanc, as such is the craze for Gandhi related merchandize in that country!
