And that’s not the only highlight. The luxury resort proudly presents a 670-square meter spa that integrates a snow cave complete with artificial snow farms as well. The total worth of the hotel is £20m. So you can be quite sure to get a royal treatment with the various relaxation pods and treatment rooms with lasers as well as the tummypod that lets expecting mother treat they unborn babies to some classical music.

Illuminating Table

Featured here is an Illuminating table from Cinimod Studio designed to enhance the appeal of your interiors. Coalescing 3-D arrays of interactive color progress monitored by its surroundings, the Illuminating Table aims at infusing a fresh breath of life in your room. Functional in “generative art” form, the table utilizes algorithms to craft a frequently varying pattern of shades where grouping of exclusively select glass types offer the delusion of a continual sense of room inside the white glass box. When operational, the table format sports all the artwork encumbered onto it, thereby offering an unswerving and upholding interactive and receptive power that allows users be with the artwork.
Possibly developed by Reed Richards, the furniture item can be seen a weapon to enter into the Negative mode.

Interactive floor

After the usage of interactive floors for imparting knowledge amongst kids (albeit still a concept), the realistic turn taken by interactive flooring is clearly visible at The Science Museum as part of their “Science for Survival” exhibition. Featuring an interesting projection by experts, Arcstream AV has unveiled their revolutionary offering of an Interactive Floor ‘Living Image’. How this system works: Its access to an overhead projector and a variety of sensors performs the real-time changing of an image as and when some on goers steps upon. The floor interaction via changing images of pool of water, fishes, water ripples purely depends upon the movement of people walking on it. Its infra-red sensors provided by Electrosonic enables top track several people at one go.

The projector used has a reasonably normal resolution of 1024 x 768, but is chiefly bright at 6,500 Lumens.

Interactive floor

It is the ability of this technology that very beautifully engages people’s senses i.e. sight, sound and touch. The exhibition would be open till November 2008.
