piet_1 Piet Is A Stunning Emerald-like Indoor Stove That Is Cool To Touch

An indoor stove that looks like a giant emerald, we definitely like this one! The reigning concept of the hearth and home with its green open fireplaces has gone a step further with Piet. This one is an all new chimney free indoor stove created by an industrial design student Fredrik Hylten-Cavallius. Some of you might know that it was really EcoSmart that pioneered the trend of open fire innovation.

Coming back to Piet, this one looks very artistic, something like a huge precious stone in a shade of yellow. The stive features a brass reflector and runs on ethanol fuel in place of wood, thus ensuring a smokeless fire.

Kohler Hi-Tech Fountain Toilet Needn’t Attend Nature’s Call!

Kohler Hi-Tech Fountain Toilet

Engulfed with blue lights and a play trick of open-and-close button, it is not only difficult but also impossible to accept that it is a toilet seat. Even if you make yourself understand the reality, you can’t afford to use it to attend nature’s call over it. You may give a second thought before actually relieving yourself by excreting bodily waste. Let me now demystify the mystery of Kohler hi-tech fountain toilet.

For eco-enthusiasts, the 1.28 gallon per flush system stands there saving water and dehydrating sewer crocodiles. Folks, you need to be a patient as these elite accessories would hit the market only in June. This is an opportunity to have a firsthand understanding with Ayn Rand’s work devoid of resorting to defecating in the fiction aisle at Barnes and Noble.

Install Exotic Car Furniture
Posted in Designer, Furniture on 20 April 2008

Car Furniture

Designer furniture has always interested me. And best is the flavor of unusualness attached to it. Whilst days back, I featured custom furniture developed from auto parts by Jake Chop Shop, today I have World Class Exotics creation of couches, desks, and bars designed using parts of coupe models viz. Lamborghini and Porsche. At a drop of mere cost, you can take pride in holding such high-end models in this form.

Using cart parts, the company alters front ends, rear ends, and sides into settees, desks and bars. They have also offered full size beds out of car bodies. Calculating the cost involved including car parts and labor, it would prove to be a bargain for you. The base model of couch is priced at $3,700, whilst the working taillights along with integrated bar is retailed at $4,500. Desks and beds are also constructed demanding $4,500 and $9,100 respectively. Those who want to bring exclusivity to their home should ask for exotic furniture on demand. There is no other constraint to the company except your imagination; this is the motto of the company.

The Local River: Fish, Farm Cum Kitchen Garden
Posted in Concept, Designer, Eco-friendly, Home Decor on 7 April 2008

The Local River

A new concept is ready to hit your mind and its elite theory aim s at not only hitting but dominating it. Called the Local River, it is a creation by a French designer Mathieu Lehanneur and stands upon the theory of domestic “refrigerator-aquarium” that raises freshwater fish for eating and grows vegetables simultaneously. In layman terms, it can be defined as aquaponic kitchen gardens with integrated fish tank. It can be seen as a perfect replacement of ornamental ‘TV aquarium’ by a life-sized ‘refrigerator-aquarium’. For this particular design, Mathieu takes inspiration from a San Francisco based group known as the Locavores who eat foods grown within a 100-mile radius of their city to diminish their impact on the surroundings.

The Local River

The project enables people to grow their own food at home and thus the growing vegetables in floating pots assures purification of water by eliminating nitrates and other reserves. The concept will be demonstrated at the Artists Space Gallery in New York from 25 April. Well, saying how early it can be devised is not possible now but we are hoping seeing it installed in various homes in near future.

Customized Hookah Tables
Posted in Furniture on 5 April 2008

Hookah Tables

If your addiction to addiction is coming between you and your beloved then here is a way out. No…No..I won’t ask you to quit it but rather carry on with it silently. Lately u came across the designer and functional Hookah tables at BallerHouse. Fabricated to accommodate four people, the Hookah Table is enormously exceptional as it disguises the hookah pipe on three areas of the table, thereby taking a call who gets to see it. Customized in nature, the Hookah tables are analogous to a multi-chambered bong where “the smoke first pierces into the water chamber from the bowl then travels into the main chamber, where you will see the chamber fill up. And from here finally the smoke moves out into the hookah hoses.

Hookah Tables

The design and structure of the table can stand upon what’s going in your mind in terms of its shades, wood finishes, bevel options, bowl types, and hose colors. Priced at mere $600, this should be seen as one time investment by all Hookah’s aficionados that will reap benefits ion coming years.
