The Wright Auction House in Chicago will be a busy one on October 6 as it will make the best of efforts to remind potential buyers of a certain period in the 90s that they loved so much. And the same is symbolified by Philippe Starck’s creations that were custom tailored for Ian Schrager for the Paramount and Royalton boutique hotels in Manhattan. Let us remind you that when these were unveiled almost a decade ago, everybody’s jaws droppped because nothing of this kind was ever witnessed before.
The good news is that some of the very same and very original furniture by Starck will be auctioned off. Buyers will agree that the avant-garde designs by the man available in the markets today are tamed, which is just why the auction is a great way to capture the artists’s wild creativity from this early days.

As sexy as she might be, actor Sharon Stone is have a lot of trouble to find her way in the intricate cross paths of the real estate world. She has just re-listed a Beverly Hills mansion of hers at 8,995,000 that she purchased for a higher price of $10,995,0000 back in 2006. What a bummer! But looks like the global economic recession had a major role to play here for Stone did offer the house at $10 million initially.
Seeing no positive responses, she took it off only to offer it once again at $58,000 monthly lease. Unfortunately, that did not work either. Insiders reveal that she could get nothing more than $35,000 a month. Finally, the spirited lady of the big screen has decided to find the easy way out by greatly reducing the selling price of her abode.

It has universally been agreed upon that the NYC real estate scene is a little more than unusual. But this once, we require residents who have no fear of claustrophobia as perhaps the skinnier townhouse in the place goes up for sale. Situated at 75.5 Bedford Street in West Village, this property has a width of only 98 inches which really just a little over eight. We do think that it will need a very deft hand with the interior decoration. Nothing hefty of giant please.

The name Disney will now be known for things other than the vivacious colors and the loud celebrations, thanks to the inception of the Disney Vacation Club. As part of the new endeavour, the famous brand is now offering the Treehouse Villas at its Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa. We hear that it is the perfect holidaying place with a kiss of luxury as it revives the treehouse living concept.
Each and every treehouse villa has been constructed so to look like a giant 3-D puzzle. The new resort includes 60 three-bedroom homes that go as high as 10 feet off the ground with the help of pedestals and beams. But that’s just on the outside as the interior flaunts all modern aminities like the cathedral ceilings, granite countertops, a barbecue grill complete with the flat TV to keep you entertained. Each villa is large enough to accommodate nine people.

Paris Hilton is indeed the most talked about celeb in the whole world, though not always for the best of the reasons. This time the famous hotel heiress has attracted all media attraction with her latest spending spree. Apprently, she has gone on to provide a luxurious lifestyle for all her adorable seventeen pets.
Not just that, she has even twittered pics of her Mini Doggie Mansion, which is actually a scale down model of her own Beverly Hills mansion. We hear that the ultra-luxe dog house comes with all the strappings of a rich person’s home. So the pooches can enjoy complete air conditioning, chandeliers, an ornate staircase, doggie wardrobe with several pieces of furniture which are actually miniatures of Paris’s own. Though we do know some of you might not be impressed because of the Gloucestershire doghouse worth $382,213 we told you about some time back.

We should have well expected this, but frankly we didn’t — a house complete with nuclear shelter! Enter Goldenhill. A dream home with its own 15-berth nuclear shelter, a 34-seat cinema and an underground aquarium, this one looks and feels like a dream. No wonder the builders A&B Homes’ luxury developments are so proud of this property.
A lot of attention has been paid to the tiniest of details like the position vis-à-vis the sun and the landscaping to be as eco-friendly as possible. Up for sale at $12 million, many say it has created quite an impression on Chelsea football captain John Terry except for the location.

Hear hear. The infamous Craig Johnson is in news all over again. No, he hasn’t revved up yet another phone VAT scam like the one that earned him £138 million and an entry among the biggest scams in British history. But his private estate and all his belongings are being put up for sale by the British government.
Apparently, the man liked to live a life of crime and luxury. His stately home has eight bedrooms. It is really a Grade II listed 17th century Meaford Hall in stone, Staffs, which is also famous as the birthplace of Admiral John Jervis, the patriot who confronted Napoleon. Giving a dose of history with the contemporary comforts, this building also houses a huge swimming pool, gym, spa and even a helicopter landing pad.

Since the pool is always in level with the floor, the makers were very careful to develop a pattern so that the water doesn’t overflow; the ground-level fissures doubling the pool’s outline serve this purpose.

If I could, I would. And now that I can, I surely will. Tired am I of traveling day and night for some assignment or going to some relative’s place and having my life turned upside down completely. Now I plan to save for the latest Caravan house that I intend to buy. Tabbert Paganini is a caravan that fits elegantly in my plans. It has comfortable interiors, proper lighting and enough space to breathe in style. LED spotlights can be adjusted high or dim according to mood. Oopps, did I mention the three-burner Spinflo cooker having a classy glass panel, and a useful189 liter refrigerator. From the pics, the shower looks spacious enough.
