If you have a pet at home, you will want the world’s luxuries to get heaped on your pet, ideally a dog, too.

This means you would not mind taking this a few steps further to pamper your pet, even if it meant a special place in the swanky home theater. You don’t have to leave doggy dear behind!

The CinePetLounger helps you just right in this matter. It makes your pet feel royal, relax, and stretch out while you watch a movie, enjoy the popcorn or simply doze off as the reels play on the screen. It is, to literally speak, a custom canine couch. It measures 54 inches in length, 30 inches deep and comes with lovely rich red and golden hues to suit the décor.

The couch spells luxury for your pet animal in every sense. The chair, couch or lounger, whatever you would love to call it, has in in-arm storage for popcorn and other snacky treats your loved one would want to binge on, in typical doggy style. The lounge is available in movie-house velvet, mohair, silk, suede and leather. Prices for the product range from $1,695 to $1,995.

No home theater can give you the ultimate cinematic experience even if it has the best in TV technology and stuff, until unless there isn’t the perfect theater chair to complete the picture. The Bruges from Cineak makes for a good option. At a price tag of $5,200, the chair comes with option of full customization. So you can go ahead and design something that will gel with your home theater equipment.

The chair comes with a unique incline mechanism that has a dual independent motorized control. Very high quality European bull hide leather lines the chair constructed in partnership with James Theobold. Believe it when we tell you that the Bruges comes in three leather grades and a range of 70 colors. Then there is always the option of velvet fabric in 40 color choices. And if you have something completely out-of-the-box in mind, you can get that too.

Let’s not forget that the steel motorized incline mechanism and lower back height ensure an unobstructed flow of sound. The cushioning will make you feel like a baby. There is a variety of forms too like the single seat, love seat, straight row and wide arm rest with lay-in table, custom-curved row or any combination of seating parts. Expect the price to be high.

Acerbis is one name forever dedicated to providing novelty to the world of entertainment furniture. So much so that they have many a time intermeshed means of recreation with items of furniture. Take its New Concept collection for instance. Currently on display at Salone Del Mobile 2009 along with the Lyneus Lodovico audio-video cabinet, this one is a great combination of an LCD and a projection screen with a modern furniture type.

The model that took our breath away is the NC Base Superschermo 100 Cabinet. Well as the name suggests, this one is capable of concealing a projection screen right in its belly so that your living room gets transformed into the TV room at the press of a button.

The screen is automated and flaunts an available projection width of approximately 2 meters for the 16:9 formats. The picture is high quality and the luminosity feature makes the electronic compatible with most available projectors on the market. A very smart alternative to a home theater room. Imagine the space you will be saving.

It has now come out with a new concept in Home Cinema.

It’s called The Visionaire and spells quality of the highest standards. And could be the newest hot-find for the cash rich gadget-lover wanting to splurge on audio visual equipment. How? Practially all of your audio and video gadgets can fit into the roomy cabinet. It looks elegant, classy and yet has contemporary features that suit the requirements of aficianados of the current generation.

It has a 5.1 – 7.1 channel system, and also covers up a big plasma screen inside its polished aluminium and leather finished body that you use a remote control to operate.

Media furniture sure requires some insight into the needs of consumers and this one fits the bill.

The hitch is its mind-boggling price. At 100,000 euros, which translates to $ 128,572 literally, you would want to think twice about splurging on a media rack of all things on earth. Food for thought in today’s difficult time of economies in recession.Â

Modern technology transforms movie magic into your own living room with its home theater systems. Yet, there is nothing like having your own movie room exclusively built for the purpose. That is a fashionable trend catching on fast and with more guys looking at their garages as exclusive sanctuary for their ‘guy things’ and a weekend retreat away from the home and kitchen, turning garages into Home Theater seems a pretty cool option. Of course, you could also watch your favorite football game on Saturday night on the same screen in HD.

This is one of the more classy home theaters that you will find and this really cool garage turned into home theater has actually adopted simple design to make it look like a real multiplex. There is the red carpet, the seat styling, comfortable leather seating, and wallpaper that oozes class and that big screen with surround sound to complete the visual magic. It is astonishing how such simple imitation can sometimes work so well, as ultimately we are reminded of the theater atmosphere.
Bjorn Kristensen has surely done a remarkable job with his own garage!

What is the most you can do to watch your favourite sport? What did we all do during the last Cricket World Cup? At most, we were faithfully glued to our television sets. It’s amazing how much passion people have to utilize their hobby into something more than that. Ever thought of making a custom-built home theatre for your kin and kith?

Our featured hero got this idea and fixed a deal with First Impressions Themed Theatres Inc. to make custom-designed home theaters. It took more than $300,000 and a hard work of four months for this dream to materialise. The designer of the project and company owner Jeffrey Smith created a never before wonder by having a floor that vibrates. In his words “the floor doesn’t stroke the walls or the concrete beneath… It enlarges and contracts with air pressure, so that when the subwoofers jolt in, you can feel the whole lot coming up from base of seats.”

All this looks wonderful with light blue LED lightings, the concealed bass absorbers, omni diffusers and strategic deflectors, enhancing the sound and the visual of the set up. The theater chairs are fully motorized having Granite drink holders and condiment trays. And when ever you may wish to hit the bar, its right behind you in its green marble-topped glory, and christened as “buddy bar”. Mr. Smith has been sensible enough to the other people in the household and made noise from leaking into the rest of the house, next to impossible. So, your husband and your children can be having a happy brawl over the score while you may be peacefully enjoying your book in the other room.

We all like to experience the larger-than-life silver screen inside the luxury of our house. With a variety of home theatre systems plus other equipment at hand and enough money to spend, most of us can afford to have the ultimate home theater experience. Still, something is missing. The reason being the acoustics and architecture of the room! It is a known fact that poor acoustics significantly reduces the charm of watching a movie. Then what’s the solution? Ever wondered about converting your living space into a mini-theater? One with exact seating arrangement and a stage and the similar heavenly clarity in sound.

Well, now it’s possible. Thanks to Jeremy Hummer. Once a professional broadcast T.V. system integrator, now a residential systems installer. His passion for movies and his sound knowledge about wiring and installation of sound equipment, led him to completely overhaul his 500- square-foot garage (at his house in house in Gulfport, Florida) into a brand nouveau theater complete with actual film projectors, a screen, and a multi-speaker sound system. He began remodeling his garage in 2004 and within 6 months his achieved most of what he wanted. Still, to get the real effect, he handled the wiring and equipment installation himself so that, the sound quality could not be compromised. Keeping in mind the acoustics and architecture of his garage-turned-theater he added tiered seating and a stage (both filled with R-30 insulation to exclude acoustic resonance). Now he owns and runs Electronic Home Designers and would be more than happy to take your order and convert your living space into a real-life theater.

His work offers true value for money, as he believes in using the best equipment according to the acoustics, architecture and electricity available in a client’s house. So, if you are interested, touch space with him now.
