We’ve heard of ceiling fans, lamps hanging from the ceiling and even books. An Italy based firm Ad Hoc has come up with something unique and innovative – home radiators that not only look stylish and add up to the décor of a room, but hang from the ceiling.
Aesthetics in making radiators décor friendly have undergone enormous effort in the recent years. Ad Hoc’s effort takes it to a new level altogether.
The radiators are meant to make the living space a symbol of authentic and harmonious domestic universe. The ultimate balance is between keeping it trendy and utilitarian as well. Tiki radiator as it is called, blends into a modern home in its minimalist make up. The shape is cylindrical, with a visual appeal and intricate finish. Tiki radiators are available in satin or white finish.
The metal radiator may well go on to turn the centerpiece of your home, thanks to its unique suspension feature. It is so oblivious and yet can attract attention that it resembles a hanging lamp shade. The heating element hangs in mid-air. The designer is Carlo Martino.

Expect Sand & Birch to give us the unexpected when it comes to modern furniture. The brand has indeed given us some furniture designs that are as unique as the moon and the earth. Names like the Diamond Sofa, Lu Armchair as well as the Winebag wine cellar made in co-operation with Ellemme have set a benchmark of their own. Now, the duo of Andrea Fino and Samanta Snidaro have decided to go a wee bit snazzy with the Glossy Lipstick. No this isn’t a cosmetic but trust us it will add the same magic to your living room as a lipstick does to an early morning face.
We are talking about an extraordinary sofa or should we say piece of seating that has been made by using glass and lexan with a clear silicone coating to seal the deal.

Home bars are many. So which one do you choose for it is sure that one of the conventional designs that you pick for yourself will end up in more than a few more houses. Cactus Designers have attempted to bring a change to the scene with a very futuristic makeover for the bar. This organisation is based in Lyon and consists of some very talented French freelance designers who are passionate about innovating within the home environment.
The work we are talking about works by the principles of a lounge bar and can be wall-mounted too. The entire concept based on the cabinet-like design very interestingly merges the home bar with the rest of your furniture. There are three seperate compartments in the bar hat preserves the finest of your wines at the temperatures they need to be stored in.

Sometimes we feel very hungry while we are at work but it’s always not convenient to go to the office pantry and nibble on some food. This is even worse in the case of a sedentary job where one literally plunks himself/herself hours together without eating anything. Emili Manrique designs a table, which is used both as work and dinner table.

The flat surface almost a square shape table has different tiny sections to place a laptop, pen stand, notebooks, files, etc and, on the other side it has an eating space as well. So, you can work and eat on the same table simultaneously. The idea is not bad but it’s not professional to eat at the office work desk. It’s work and not food that should be given the highest priority while in office.

There are things that are amazingly sensible and there are those that actually do not make any sense at all. Take for example this nice looking Arc which has been designed by D.K. & Wei Design. The Arc is a special and well designed shower system that not just looks good but also recycles bath water in order make the user feel less guilty.
It recycles hot water in no time, and you would not have to worry about anything except just taking the bath with water at the right temperature. However, just like someone said at Yanko Design, there is no reason why people must make such a hue and cry whe it comes to wst8ing water at the bathroom.
