Surpassing all barriers in giving that touch of luxury to things worldly, an anniversary gift by her husband left Digi Foo-Kune floored. A Mughal Emperor once got an entire tomb built in marble for his wife, albeit posthumously. Luxury holidays, cruises, and diamonds are the order of today in anniversary gifting. Digi Foo-Kune’s husband took her to the Cycle Show 2009 and gave her an ultimate, yet unusual surprise – a custom built titanium bicycle.

Posted in Apparels, Designer, Fashion, Luxury, Worlds Most Expensive on 14 June 2008

Expensive Wedding Dress Yes, the much-in news blingy silhouette is a platinum wedding dress featured in London as part of the Hatton Garden Jewellery Week. Bearing a price tag of £240,000 almost ten-times the price of standard weddings dresses making up to shows, the ultra-luxurious dress is designed by Italian Mauro Adami using 40 meters of textile spun from silk and platinum thread.

Known as a lead designer of Domo Adami, the couture wedding dresses can be purchased from its show room in Milan. Adami crafts hail from Italy and abroad, and this dress can be seen as his growing ‘passion for brides’ since childhood. Pictured above is a wedding dress that resides currently in the window of the Wedding Ring Shop in Hatton Garden and is the attraction of the carnival, held every year to rejoice the street’s record of creativity and craftsmanship.

This area is populated with over 800 jewelers, detailing almost more than a third of jewelers in London. The festival can be seen as an opportunity to win a £15,000 platinum ring and pendant during treasure hunt.
