Here comes a treat for the Ham lovers, though a pricey one! A manufacturer from Spain is all set to prepare some thing that he would tag as the world’s most expensive ham in the world. Priced at about $2,100 per leg, or a nasty $160 per pound, this salt-cured ham will be christened as “2006 Alba Quercus Reserve”. But quite contrary and delayed and inappropriate to its name, the pork will be available for the foodies only in late 2008.
What more? This not where the pricey story of this priciest leg piece ends as there still more to break the camel’s back. Whenever you plan to plan your budget to relish this expensive ham. You have to plan it in a way that you can afford to buy the whole of it.
