And when we had started to think that probably all his famous gloves have been sold, yet another one pops up from out of the blue and creates headline. No prizes for guessing that its legend Michael Jackson and his trademark fashion accessory that we are talking about here. Apparently, this shimmering white glove (yep, there is only one) was worn by MJ at the premiere of his trademark moonwalk dance way back in 1983. This little fame feat of its cost the highest bidder Hoffman Ma of Hong Kong some $420,000 bucks!
The glove is a modified golf glove studded with rhinestones all over. Jackson wore it on his left hand during the Motown’s 25th anniversary TV special. In fact, this one was the top item among the singer’s other stuff at the Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square.

The man definitely came with the most famous destiny ever written by the guy up there! We are talking about Michael Jackson whose entire course of life towards death were captured by the cameras for his loyals and critics the world over. Even in death, he has continued to make headlines with the doubt of homicide. A few days ago, the world witnessed his grand funeral ceremony which really took place 70 days after his demise.
And one again, the biggest music icon in the milky way is being remembered for his signature crystal-encrusted white glove. This one was worn by MJ in sydeny on the day he married Debbie Rowe in 1966 and was auctioned recently to the highest bidder at $49,000. This event was held in Melbourne on Sunday.

Michael Jackson was indeed planning for a huge comeback for himself. But unfortunately, as we saw, life doesn’t necessarily go the way we planned it. Now we are hearing that the pop legend was involved in talks with famous designer Christian Audigier to start a collection of his own. But his sudden death left things mid-way and now his designer friend has decided to make his dream come true.
Apparently, MJ was able to design 100 patterns that included a pair of rhinestone socks and a rhinestone glove. He had been working on these with Audigier ever since 2007. Plans were to launch it with Jackson’s ‘this is it’ comeback tour.
