While it can be argued if beer is a chic or a down market drink, the truth is we all enjoy drinking it more than expensive wine. There is something about beer which makes people forget about class consciousness and just enjoy the mild high it provides after sometime.
Japanese company Ginza Tanaka have just launched Summer Cool, a gold mug which costs $50,000. It is made of about 85 grams of gold and they also have wine glasses and a golden fan. However, one would be most impressed by the Golden Mug which breaks all barriers to drink beer.

The Tokyo Tower symbolises Japan’s fight for survival and their grit and determination to become the best since their fall from power and the pain the country suffered during the World War.
The Tokyo Tower is taller than the Eiffel and stands at 333 metres. In celebration of the tower’s 50th anniversary, jewellery company Ginza Tanaka has produced a 24 carat gold replica of the Tokyo Tower. The imitation is size specific and also includes the Foot Town shopping and dining centre constructed between the legs of the tower. To gold replica, Golden Tokyo Tower, weighs 5kgs and is intended to be sold as a souvenir for 50million yen ($510,000).

Christmas is that time of year when even Uncle Scrooge comes off looking like a generous person. It brings out the best in everyone. Or so I thought.
This Christmas, the world views not just the best but the worst, too. As Japan dazzles us with the most expensive Christmas tree, the most pathetic version of it was uncovered in County Durham. The elite Christmas tree is on display at the Ginza Tanaka jewellery shop in Shinsaibashi, Osaka, as an audacious disregard to the recession. The shimmering 24k gold tree is adorned with 240 jewels of pearls and diamond hangings among others. Weighing at more than 21kgs, the tree is worth a staggering £1 million. On the other end of the spectrum, the Durham tree was so pathetic that that it has been called a disgrace by the residents.

It’s incredible that a $1.9 million platinum handbag encrusted with 2,182 diamonds totaling 208 carats by designer Ginza Tanaka is now available for sale. First unveiled in Tokyo during a fashion show in June 2007, the bag managed to invite eyeballs and is now in high spirits to be featured around London in honor of London Jewelry Week. The handbag features a diamond shoulder strap that is detachable and can be worn as a necklace with the huge 8-carat pear-shaped diamond glued on the face of the bag and can also be worn as a brooch.

Ginza Tanaka has again made up to headlines once again declaring its fad for gold. In past 12 months, we came across various bling creations bathed in gold by Ginza viz. Santa Claus, Swimsuit and Calendar.
This time Ginza has experimented its hands on an elite Mickey Mouse figure and has offered a blingy creation to rich kids. Featured above is the Mickey Mouse sculpted in almost 1 kg of solid gold. Even the tail of this 12 centimeters tall pricey toy is made of solid gold. The Mickey is being designed to promote the Walt Disney movie, National Treasure-2 and would be given away as the top prize in a lucky draw for makes the purchase of a Movie’s DVD. Available not for sale, this Gold Mickey Mouse is valued at $ 31,000. For sure if Ginza tries its luck by putting this Gold Mickey Mouse under hammer, then surely it won’t fetch less than some $$$.
Also, it won’t be justified to restrict its image as a gold king as it has smartly dealt with diamonds as well by unveiling $1.8 mn New Year bag encrusted with 2,182 diamonds for filthy rich.

With ingredients thread spun and 24-carat gold, one can think of producing a neckpiece worth dollars but not swimsuits. Fortunately, Tanaka creativity lies beyond this limited imagination. The designer has lately unveiled a swimsuit, tapestry and matching shawl at a workshop in Kyoto.
Revealing the deserving cost of this handwoven dress, jewelry maker Ginza Tanaka said, “With a weight of 1.1 kilograms, this dress is retailed at 30,000,000 yen ($2, 45,000).
Weighing 500 grams, the other swimsuit with dipping neckline and almost backless strings is available for sale at 10 million yen (81,700 dollars). A single tapestry would suffice to add life in your living room at the cost of 50 million yen (408,000 dollars).
To do away with the existing definition and respect for the jewelry industry, Tanaka wishes to lay a new foundation for it by offering dresses and swimsuits that would be no less than designer jewelry. Don’t ever think of washing it ever in the washing machine.
