This chess set is fit for the blue blood. We are talking about the Queen’s Silver Jubilee chess set which was restored in 1977. If it helps to know the set also won the esteemed Design Council Awards. And currently the Silver Jubilee Chessmen are balanced to the US chess Federation playing weight. Bearing the London Hallmark, the seat has been made in two suede-lined leather book boxes with hand inlaid Dauphin leather trim. And typical to all Geoffrey Parker luxury games, this one too comes in a wide array of colors. We are told that there are two extra Queens for the serious player.
All pieces have been crafted in sterling silver gilt only to be gold plated later keeping a consistency of 5 microns. We are told that you can also get pieces completely made in 18 carat gold.

Game tables are a whole lot of fun than you can imagine. Own one and you will know. The new GT/33 Contemporary Game Tabe by Geoffrey Parker has got our rapt attention for it is being marketed as the world’s most comprehensive game table ever made. The finishing is done in stainless steel while the complete body is wrapped in supreme quality Dauphin calf leather.
But more than just the aesthetics, the Game Table is very useful too. It stores 33 games within. You get all the regular faves like Bakgammon, Chess, Bridge, Dominoes and Cribbage. Even licensed games like Monopoly, Scrabble, Trivial Pursuit, Risk and Cleudo find their way inside the recreational table.
