‘Wow’ was the first word i uttered after seeing the B-membrane Concept by Korean designer Won-Seok Lee. Developed like a unidirectional projector with windows facing any side of the surface, the hybrid concept is put across to mark a revolution. There is no dearth of distinctive PC concepts but the advent of this has stolen the need of colossal desktops. Other specks include membrane keyboard that emerges when required, incorporated optical drive and there is another attached unique feature of its accessibility as a source of ambient light enlightening the surroundings’ when not in use as a PC.
If ever it becomes functional, its installment into our interiors would look an artwork .

Truly, this is not the first device designed to help elderly or crippled walk unaided, but for sure amongst all, this one is really compact and user friendly so far. Developed by Honda, the walking assist device would be demonstrated at the International Trade Fair on Barrier Free Equipments & Rehabilitation in Osaka. The team at Honda is being working over this for past nine years.
After undergoing the processing since 1999, the device has now reached the viability phase and prospective customers are invited to get the first-hand feel. I wish I could also experience that. It’s no shocker that Honda’s ASIMO humanoid robot contributed significantly in making this device possible. The data acquired from hip angle sensors is used by the control CPU to converse the flat brush less motors and offer the needful assistance to enable those using the device elongate their tread. Weighing 6.2lbs, the device can easily be wrapped around the waist and thigh. It comes with a battery life of 2 hours if used at 4.5km/hour.

What could be a best way to burn stress during a break? Go away from the rush of people, albeit momentarily. This is now possible via an Air Suit ($1,250) that lets you fly like a giant squirrel. The suit’s resistance-based form assures that you experience every height of flying or gliding rather than falling. Mind you, don’t think of saving the citizens of Metropolis by taking a ride while clad in this. These customised air suits are designed only for “seasoned” skydivers.
Price: $1250
