Furniture comes in all kinds of shapes and styles. It comes with whacky material thinking too.
Stephane Perruchon has used such thinking and gone ahead to design a coffee table inspired by a playstation, the base of which is made up of two huge PS3 controllers. The table is complete with two handles made of ABS and also decorated with the buttons. And is sure to remind you of those countless hours you spent with the joystick and indulged in some virtual fantasy.
It is available only in black and white versions, so go ahead and design your room décor around it. The table may be worth the effort for all you know. He sure must have been a gaming enthusiast himself at some point.
Call that a geeky table if you want. But the thoughtfully designed piece can enliven your room with a super cool feel. Or still better, make it look like a dorm room. For, while the table is delicately stylish, it is very sturdy too.
Stephane Perruchon had earlier designed hanging the design cool Babylon fireplaces which were great.

It’s called Airboard, from Arbortech. And is a new thrill in sporting. Adjust your balance, change your weight from one side to another, and you can turn from 180º to 360º. The new gadget can take you to unimagined fun. Simply ride it, or try twists and moves, it promises fun. It is apparently, identical to those used at Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.
Airboard is a petite gasoline powered personal hovercraft or a propeller driven vehicle, that has an electric start. Start it up, hop on board, adjust the throttle and move on. Its makers say it is easy to control, maintain and ideal for riders who are aged above 14 years.
The handle bar has two levers, one to lift the engine speed and another to thrust. By bending backwards, a small propelling wheel at the rear of the vehicle can be used to touch the ground to help accelerate the hovercraft.

If you are one of those who can never get enough of golf, we have just the thing for you to be installed at home or even at your office to take off the pressure. The Video Arcade Miniature Golf Game is available at the house of Hammacher Schlemmer. And this entertainment machine has been designed to offer you the ultimate experience in miniature golf.
Sized just as the regular gaming machines found in arcade parlors, this one makes use of real golf putters and balls. The courses and obstacles are displayed virtually on a 32-inch vertical LCD display. This means that four competitors (yes, you and three of your closest buddies) can enjoy a game on two virtual courses – Las Vegas course (casino theme) and the Paradise Island course (tiki torch theme).

Some things just have to be done on a big screen. Take the World of Warcraft games, for instance, how could you ever think of playing it on a 12 inch screen laptop? No, you absolutely require something with a bigger screen!
Some gaming systems have come out with dual and triple screens but often come attached with the kind of price tags that makes most of us fear our hearts may give way. This latest feature by AMD comes as a blessing for those individuals who always wished they could connect multiple displays and make up one big solo screen.

PacMan was one of those old arcade games that was popular with all ages and has remained popular over the years. Even now, in the age of complex 3D games, people often choose to relax after a hard day with a simple game of PacMan.
Such classic games just never die and if you’re feeling nostalgic then you may want to get yourself the PacMan Chair. Looking just like the eternal eater in its traditional bright yellow with mouth gaping open, the PacMan chair invites you to sit down and go back to a time when things were much simpler.

Simulators that do not promise a real-life thrill no longer interest gamers. Well, why not…the standards have gone higher. The RS1 Xtreme M3 Simulator is one such mode of entertainment that comes integrated with a projector tower and trainer station that add expediency.
The exclusive components of the RS1 Xtreme have been used to create this latest version in simulators that also has an added top-of-the-line 3-axis motion actuator system. This allows acceleration at up to 2Gs and stimulates vibrations in synchronization with the on-screen action. The biggest strength of this simulator is the new proprietary patent Immersion Screen design and technology that allows the racers a true 180 degree field of vision. Also, there are the multiple high-output shakers that increase the realism by generating vibrations.

Simulation is the second best thing when you can’t get your hands on the real thing to give you a wild adrenalin rush. Unfortunately, first you have to waste time getting to a place where you can give vent to all that pent up adrenalin.

The avid gamers will be glad to know that here is a chance to enjoy the virtual world of racing even more. The CNE racing simulator is a wonderful amalgamation of design and performance. This fun machine will allow you to feel a thrill never experienced before. We were quite taken up by the streamlined looks, especially the graceful arc design in the front region. The acrylic anterior decorative plates complement the whole design.
By the way, there are noble stickers too. The high-grade leather racing seats are adjustable. A lot of thought has gone into making this chair very comfortable for the user; the cushion-y back support of the chair is one such example. And the quality of stimulation is huge ensured by a rather extensive wiring system which is well concealed.
