A lot of real estate auction come and go every other day. But in all fairness, we haven’t heard of a deal like this one before. Firstly, they rarely feature throw-ins except for some used luxury cars but in that case, the price of the estate is upped a little bit. This is not dream but reality as John and Susan Surbey, a retired English couple, put their entire lifestyle up for sale — an English farmhouse with its private airstrip, private plane plus a French holiday cottage for just $955,222.
Yep, the price is huge but just also sees the other side of the bargain, the number of ultra-luxe things that the winning bidder will be getting. The Surbeys are selling all to fund a retirement in Spain that shall also mean indulging in sailing.
