We like the idea of a sweet fragrance spreading the message of peace (though we do not have specific details on the ‘how’ part of the dea;). Do not fret for we haven’t really gone bonkers. Famous brand Bond No. 9 has taken up on itself the task of making this world a better place to live in by making it smell better. And it is doing so without missing even a tad bit on the glamour quotient. Called Swarovski Purple Velvet Amphora Vitrine, this unique and shall we say ‘noble’ scent comes in a limited edition and aims to work for better fashion smell.
This 42 ounce amphora vitrine comes in a glittering bottle that is decked with not one or two hundred but 17,500 purple Swarovski crystal stones. Its gorgeous lid is shaped like a honeycomb that has also been able to accomodate an elliptical mirror too.

If you have a real exclusive and rare fragrance of perfume then sure as hell you would want it to be sealed tightly and kept safely so that you can unleash its pulsating delights as and when you require them. Well, we do not know exactly how good Alexa Lixfeld’s latest line of perfumes is, but they are sealed safely enough to ensure that nothing escapes from the bottle.
Hailing from Hamburg designer Alexa Lixfeld has designed a range of perfume bottles with concrete tops and they seem solid enough to knock someone out cold with one hard hit.
Not that it is bad to have a perfume bottle in your bag with a concrete top. If anyone ever crosses the line or comes too close to comfort, then reach in and swing with your might! Of course, you will also have to carry around all that weight as well!

Brand Hugo Boss has gotten together with famous innovative design specialist Karim Rashid to come up with an ultra exclusive fragrance. Dubbed the HUGO Man Exclusive Limited Edition perfume, this one is going to be a real catch if only you are able to lay your hands on one of these for only 1000 bottles are available in the market. Just so you know, the perfume brand HUGO was launched way back in 1995 by fashion house Hugo Boss and is among the most celebrated ones in the world.
The high point of this latest offering is the bottle that has been designed by Rashid to mark the success of the scent it proudly carries within.

Vanity isn’t the prerogative of the women kind alone for now the secret’s out in the open that men enjoy pampering themselves as much. Exquisite (and manly) perfumes and fragrances included. And if you are on those for whom price really doesn’t matter as long as you smell good, do check out the new Paco Rabanne 1 Million 18 Carats LUXE edition perfume.
Created for a selected few (money is the only criteria), the perfume comes for a huge price, $57,000. It is a heady mix of sexy blood orange, grapefruit, cinnamon, mint, rose, spices and light leather with strong hints of white wood, patchouli and amber. One whiff and you will know how much care and time perfumers Christophe Reynaud, Olivier Pescheux and Michel Girard have spent on this one.

Bond No.9 speaks nothing less than sheer luxury. Their latest is scents go by the names of ‘Harrods for Her’ and ‘Harrods for Him’. Bith new fragrances have been created by perfumer Laurent Le Guernec from neroli, mandarin, wild chamomile, tuberose, clary sage, nutmeg, amber, leather, sandalwood and vetiver for the prettier sex. The guys get a concoction of lavender, violet leaf, sandalwood, musk, rhubarb leaf, star anise, chamomile and pimento leaves.
The bottles befit the perfumes they carry as they feature a gold-on-gold abstracted pattern of the Harrods ‘H’ while the Bond No. 9 logo is overlaid in Harrods green with gold lettering. There is also a limited edition, the bottles of which will be encruted with Swarovski crystals for some extra bucks thrown on.

Amanda Lepore sure has been the face for a stream of fashion brands but this time she has earned a gorgeous fragrance that is dedicated to her. For the uninitiated, Lepore is a famous American transsexual icon and Christophe Laudamiel has created a fragrance called ‘Amanda’ inspired by her.
The limited edition perfume comes in a bottle encrusted with 1,000 Swaroski crystals and will be sold in the markets starting December 6 at $950 a piece. Laudamiel claims that they have done their best to capture Lepore’s elegance, glamour and strength of character.

The mention of Versace is enough to get the idea of the product that could be mentioned which without doubt belongs to the upper crust. And Donatella Versace is never one to skimp on excess. Known for famously stating “more is more,” the designer has just created what appears to be one of the world’s most luxury perfumes. Despite the threat of a worldwide recession Donatella’s new fragrance will retail at $2,100.
The 3.4-oz. bottle of the perfume is covered with hand-stitched white leather and it comes in a leather box with silver and gold details. Both the sheath and the box bear metal plates bear the words “Gianni Versace Couture”, in tribute to Donatella’s brother. The formula boasts citrus accents of bergamot and mandarin blended with red berries and tangerines. There’s a floral feel too with jasmine, heliotrope and almond blossom tones. The base is muskier as Tonka bean is combined with patchouli heart and sandalwood. If the ingredients themselves are heavenly singly, what fragrance would be of their infusion?
