The slight chill in the air is an indication for us mortals that winter is just around the corner. So, it is the perfect time for you to gear yourself up with the newest fashion line of warm clothes as well as electronic products that will keep you cosy. We stumbled across one such gadget which is more useful than the many indoor fireplaces available in the markets today because this one’s meant for the outdoors. Called UFO, this fireplace seamlessly blends in tradition with vision that is truly refined to meet the modern taste.
The brainchild of Ora Ito, the UFO is fully safe. It makes use of a natural plant alcohol that helps reduce the carbon residue, vapors as well as smoke and dust which are like the four pillars of a traditional outdoor fireplace. Plus, UFO is more easy to use.

An indoor stove that looks like a giant emerald, we definitely like this one! The reigning concept of the hearth and home with its green open fireplaces has gone a step further with Piet. This one is an all new chimney free indoor stove created by an industrial design student Fredrik Hylten-Cavallius. Some of you might know that it was really EcoSmart that pioneered the trend of open fire innovation.
Coming back to Piet, this one looks very artistic, something like a huge precious stone in a shade of yellow. The stive features a brass reflector and runs on ethanol fuel in place of wood, thus ensuring a smokeless fire.

We do realise that it is a tad too early to talk firplaces but we took this liberty a few days back with the FIRE coffee table that took our fancy; and here we are taking the same liberty with the new Babylon ethanol fireplace by Stephane Perruchon. The maker claims that this unique furniture unit puts the focus back on ‘home is where the hearth is’, and we could not have agreed more.
For starters, this one is as eco-friendly as it gets because of the amazing fueling system. Then there is the captivating design, a pattern which we really haven’t seen before, that gets supported by the structure of a small steel cable. In fact, the designer has not limited the fireplace to only one shape as there is a huge range for you to pick up from – rectangular, square, cylindrical, pyramindal, hexagonal and so on.

This cool…err…hot furniture unit created by German designer Axel Schaefer is a great catch if your are looking for some early shopping for the winter.
The integrated firplace is good enough to keep you room warm and cosy. Apart from being so very functional, the coffee table also flaunts an asymmetric body with clean and clear finish in HPL, high pressure laminate. As a result, FIRE looks glossy while promising the ultimate in durability.

Now is not really the time to talk about fireplaces except for those in the extremely cold regions. But still the magic of the Wodtke Fire SL is such that we just could not stop ourselves. This one is sleek spread across to a ratio of 16:9 widescreen and is just too perfect for any modern home. A glass ceramic decorative panel framed the fireplace. You do have the option of choosing either a black of beige one.
The firebox is founded on a rotating base that connects to a central air supply. This allows you to enjoy different viewing angles from almost anywhere in the room.
