A Chicago home from the Ferris Bueller’s Day Off film is making news after 23 years of it’s first public appearance. A mid-century Ferrari house, this one was the dream child of architects A. James Speyer and David Haid way back in 1953. The exact location says Highland Park in the state of Illinois and the features include four bedrooms, four bathrooms and four more rooms of living space with gorgeous views of the countryside.
For a little memory check. The house, in the film, was owned by Ferris Bueller’s pal Cameron Frye. If you recall, there was a scene when Frye sends his father’s Ferrari through one the house’s glass walls and into the wood. Nope, don’t expect the car as part of the deal. However, there is a spacious garage for your two park not one but three luxury cars.
