A lot has been said, heard and written about former Spice Girl, Victoria Beckham’s handbag fettish. Well as much as she likes to design her own fashion lines, the super sexy mom and fashion icon has been spotted venturing to several luxury brands to update her already quite extravagant handbag collection. The newest shopping spree got her the Hermés Birkin burgundy bag which apparently cost a dolloping $40K. The fashionistas might recognize the elegant design as the boreaux porosus crocodile.
So as of now, Vic Beckham has added 30 Birkin bags worth $1.5 million. Financial experts feel that the bag investments have a fair chance of growing in price in the years to come. We wonder if that was one of the contrbuting factors to Posh’s win as the Entreprenuer of the Year award back in the year 2007.

Alexander McQueen will go down in fashion history as that truly bad ass designer. We wonder if his bad boy image could be the contributing factor for his popularity. The Britisher has now come up with an exclusive range of men’s accessories. Apparently, this is the first time he has attempted something like this. We are talking about the exotic ostrich leather wallet that has an embossed skull.
This one comes pretty easy at $500 a piece. The wallet has been finished with genuine brown ostrich skin with a protective metal edging. As for the interior, it has been made in black leather. The inside has space for four credit cards (that’s a good enough number for one to survive in the lap of luxury), a coin compartment (very handy) and two banknote pockets.

The Haiti earthquake has been like a waking call for the fallibility of human life. The way things change drastically when nature shows its wrath for less than 60 seconds. Nope. We do not see it as pessimism, but more like realism. People all over the world has been closely following the resuce reports and are also doing their but by contributing money and sending silent prayers to the dude up there. Famous celebs are no exception.
We have seen how former U.S president Bill Clinton has been tirelessly working to help the disaster struck Haitians. Hollywood stars like George Clooney are also helping raise funds. Then there are the likes of P. Diddy’s son who went ahead and shared his birthday money with the people in Haiti.

Sex in the City works with the ladies out there. It always has for so many years. Perhaps, the book was not noticed so much but the television series did the trick and Sarah Jessica Parker sealed it pretty well with the movie. Apparently, women like to draw a lot from the four friends feelings wise, emotion wise and definitely fashion wise. Yep, it is a popular belief with the fashion makers that you put anything on Sarah and it is going to be a sure shot hit with the ladies out there.
Christopher Ross is one of them. This gentleman has been making blet buckles ever since the 1970s. And the world outside New York city got a taste of his unique talents when Sarah wore his buckle in the film. Let us remind you that Ross has this knack of imitating historical and natural elements in never seen before designs. So you can get anything and everything from wild animals to the Taj Mahal.

It’s going to rain bags this spring and summer. Ask Louis Vuitton and they would tell you why. The designers there have conjured up a rather bagful of Spring/Summer 2010 bag collections. This selection is meant for all kinds of buyers, those looking for the city edge as well as those who look for contemporary, out of box approaches to fashion.
We are gonna talk about the ones that made a big impression on us. The Monogram Cheche collection is one such. This one was only released last month and takes it name from the protective garments that one wears over the head and neck. All the bags here have been made from black-on-beige monogrammed jacquard with lurex and fluorescent threads. A great companion for a picnic or a day in college.

The Glashutte Original PanoMatic watch has been upgraded. The new and updated design has been described as minimalist with a more streamlined structure. The makers like to call this moonphase version the PanoMatic Lunar XL. By the way, we just love the use of trendy gray on its face. Trust us, if brown is the hottest combo with gold, then gray is the trendiest companion steel, white gold or platinum can ever ask for!
The watch frame is 42mm wide and carries the same remarkable finishing as the Glashutte Original. The mechanism within is kept ticking by the in-house made Calibre 90-02 automatic movement. Among the functions, you can enjoy a big date, off-centered watch dial with subsidiary seconds as well as a moon phase indicator. Mind you, all of these come in various shades of gray.
