peugeot-bb1 Tiny EV by Peugeot is Apparently Chic

There are many things in life that I do not like. One of those is the tiny car. A car is supposed to look like a car and not a toy. Not only do small cars turn me off, but they annoy me to the car. Many people share my views as well. However, the large majority seems to think that they look cute and attractive and Peugeot seems to be thinking on those lines as well.

They have launched their new electric car dubbed the BB1 which can seat 4 people if they are all shoved inside. It is apparently half way between a car and a scooter. The BB1 is an electric car that runs on green fuel apparently. While all that sounds nice I would have just wished to see a car that comes with enough space for your 3 other friends while you drive.

bee-one_1 Most Affordable British Electric Car

If you had always wanted an electric car that was also affordable, here it is. What is already being planned as a concept may soon result in the mass manufacturing. The Bee is a Start-Up result and is quite an interesting product for a company that is just nascent.

The car seats 4 people and has five doors. It is expected to cost £12,000. It could be used as an urban car and it would reach a maximum speed of 80mph. Electric motors power the front wheels and the Bee would be hooked to a permanent 3G system and would have an iPod dock as well.

hybrid vehicle

Commuting long distances become a possibility only because of high speed vehicles that every person is quite fond of. Unfortunately, these same vehicles are the cause for the high number of road accidents and loss of life. In an ideal world, vehicles would transport us to the desired locations with zero safety risk.

The ideal world of tomorrow may be here today. General Motors in collaboration with scooter maker Segway brings you a two wheeled electric vehicle which promises to be accident free. The two seater vehicle intends to take over from the world of cars making them obsolete. The PUMA project (Personal Urban Mobility and Accessibility) involves a communication system that allows vehicles on the road to interact with each reducing the possibility of traffic jams and accidents. The futuristic looking vehicle is powered by a lithium-ion battery and can cruise at speeds of 35mph. On a single charge, the vehicle can go up to 35 miles.

motorepublic_beta_1 MOTOrepublic - An Elite Zero Emission Bike

MOTOrepublic is an awesome electric bike concept that wows everyone with its unique technology and ergonomics. The bike will have zero emissions and even lesser noise, if that is even possible. The MOTOrepublic is designed to be a race bike and the fact that racing is usually associated with the red necks in rural areas, the company has taken every initiative to make sure the urban people like it as well.

The motorcycle is designed to be free of any internal combustion constraints. The look is pretty cool and the technology is rather awesome too. However, when the bike will be mass manufactured is a question that the designers would like to know as well. The problem with awesome concepts is that they usually remain concepts and never see the light of the day in some bike showroom.
