Perhaps, this is the world’s bigggest yacht. Named the Eclipse and created for the famous millionaire Roman Abramovic, the dreamboat made it appearance at the Blohm & Voss shipyard in Hamburg recently. We hear that the yacht was undergoing construction secretly at that very port for the last two years. Measuring 170-meters, this one features 2 helipads, 20 water jets, a pool with large Havana bars surrounding it, a cinema, library, restaurant, private garden, 5,000 square feet master suite and private submarine boarding from the bottom of the yacht for a secret escape.
The yacht consists of 9 decks and has five possible exits, and so has even surpassed vessels like the Platinum 525, which previously held the title of the biggest yacht in the world. The cost price of the Eclipse is $350 million and will be delivered to her owner by 2010.

Money, it is said, brings its own share of insecurities. Perhaps this need of security for himself and his family has overtaken Roman Abramovich, the £11.7billion man, so much so that he has decided to have an armour-plated mega-yacht with missile detection system to offer early warning of attack by pirates or terrorists.
Eclipse, as it is named, is 550ft long and is laying the claim for the largest private yacht. Its extra ordinary features will include having highly sensitive radar equipment, bullet-proof windows, armour plating all over the body of the Yacht. It will have more than one heli pads and well trained rescue officers.
If all defence mechanisms give way, one has an option of using a submarine and returning to safety. Sea pirates have become a constant threat for ships travelling toward the Mediterranean, statistics say. So, Abramovich’s yacht is fully justified in having safety features apart from having the usual luxurious ones such as cinema, aquarium, disco, hospital etc.

A next-generation aircraft is being planned by Cirrus Design and it seems to be a transition from the Cirrus SR22. For an utter smart jet like this, considering light jets like the Eclipse 500 and the Cessna Citation Mustang would be a limitation. Targeted for the personal use market, it is suggestible to put it across the Diamond Aircraft Industries D-Jet. It comes equipped with a parachute likewise any other Cirrus together with a body of a composite material.
Anticipated to get a certification within next few years, Cirrus is at present demanding $100,000 deposits for the jet. To promote the product, the company started with distributing a drawing of the jet in the form of a jigsaw puzzle to all the deposit holders.
It is being said that on 28 June, entire puzzle would be completed and the Cirrus Jet design would be disclosed.
Check out the video:
The Jet will house seven people i.e. two seats at the cockpit, two in the second row and two in third row. The seventh one is formed by a slider between the second and third row. The Jet features two doors and a parachute located on its nose.
