Frankly, we never really thought of giving time to ourselves to picture the dining table in the future. But not for Petr Kubik. The promising designer has conceptualised a futuristic edge to the mundane furniture unit that sits like a mammoth in most of our homes. The concept table seems to be inspired by the slightly fancy Gorenje’s smart table, but it does come with its own novelties.
Kubik’s dining table is equipped with a whole range of kitchen appliances and intelligent features like refrigerator, mini-dish washer, toaster, microwave and coffee maker to serve all your needs when you dine with your family.

The popular phrase ‘gather around the grill’ gets a new meaning with the BBQnique. This one is a classy grilling table that has everyone sit up and take notice. Well, it’s the only barbecue option that turns into a dining table almost as soon as you finish the cooking. And this doesn’t mean that the grill table lacks in any of the required equipments for these is hot plate, wok, oven and a stove to ensure a delicious platter.
On top of such delightful memorabilia, there is the one control valve, one igniter and one burner. The grill table needs very little mountainous as there is a drip tray that is accessible in seconds while a retractable gas bottle takes care of the refilling business.

And now, the whole concept has been redefines (a little at least) and restructured into a new furniture unit called the Ping-Pong Dining Table.
Made from hand-lathered Timber, this table does what it name suggests. After enjoying a sumptuous meal or maybe before one, you can play a game of ping pong and up the recreation factor within your own home. The French Rococo patterns are blended with Ping-Pong iconography with a finishing in Gold lacquer. Addressing a new definition to dining style of patio dinners and barbecue, here comes a potential dining table concept with built-in cooking system. The dual functionality of the aluminum and wood patio furniture include the functional kitchen cum barbecue followed by a dining there only. Grill n Table concept is a perfect fit for doomy summers when dining with a family in courtyard seems a blessing. The arrangement of table and cooking area can be expanded to accommodate eight people.
The project is the creation of the Dial_6 faction, an industrial design research group comprising of six students with aim to encourage the aluminum service sector in Quebec.
