dell mini 10

The best thing about computers is that the smaller it becomes the better it gets. The reduction in size of any computer related gadget is seen as a sign of its amelioration technology wise. The same is true of the Dell Mini 10 and Mini 10v.

Dell intends to wow you with its very latest creation, the Adamo, which they claim is the world’s slimmest laptop. The first pictures of the Adamo may shock you into disbelief but the statistics will convince you that this just may be true. The Adamo stands at just 1.64cm when closed and it relies heavily on this feat to impress the market.

The complete specifications of the Adamo place it at 33cm wide, 24.1cm deep and the thickness which gives it the ultra-slim appearance at 1.65cm. Adamo becomes the slimmest laptop by beating competitors MacBook Air of Apple and ThinkPad X300 by Lenovo. Unfortunately, where Dell’s Adamo wins based purely on size, it loses many admirers because of the bland design. With the main framework made from a single piece of aluminium, the Adamo intends to appear as a minimalist though elegant piece. Instead, it ends up looking more like a chunk of steel, hastily cut up and polished.

If you ever wanted the most chic looking laptop ever, you must try the Dell Latitude XT2. The computer costs $2,459 and has a swivel screen that lets you rotate it easily unlike conventional laptops. This can come to great use when you are presenting or doing something that involves demonstration. It has a mediocre touch screen and some great specifications. It comes with a 12.1 inch screen, Bluetooth, and an ExpressCard slot.

It can burn DVDs and CDs. Though technically the laptop is not outstanding, I would still suggest this laptop f you are looking for a stylish notebook to carry around. I have a thing for gadgets that look chic and stylish. Dell’s Latitude XT2 must be one of the best I have ever come across.
