If you have been long wanting to get yourself one of those exotic coral-fringed tropical islands, now is the time to get one. The global economic slowdown has brought down the sale price of a large number of Australian islands of the Great Barrier Reef. If our sources are to be believed, real estate agency Coldwell Banker’s Capricorn Coast branch is now selling off nice islands with a price range between $1.3 million and $90 million. This is almost half the price they cost one year ago.
Again, some of these islands come with luxury mansions. For instance, you can be the proud owner of the Avoid Island for a mere $1.5 million while the Long Island can be bought for 42% less than $6.5 million.
