The holiday season is almost here. One month is just enough time to equip yourself with good presents for both oneself and those near and dear around. And you will agree when we say that Christmas and New Year deserve you stepping up in the style quotient too. Nothing is too blingy or snazzy for the festive mood. In fact, the more larger than life, the better it is. Take the Mirror Mosaic Strappy Sandals for instance. These come from the fashion house of Thakoon and promise to bring a much needed zing to your Christmas or New Year outfit.
OK, they are over the top but definitely in a good way. These dazzling pair of footsies flaunt silver mirrored leather with brick-efect paneling. The black suede trim gives a very clean finish. Even the cutout effect along with the angled peep toe opening lend their own magic to the whole affair. Your feet will sure be pampered!

Well, it might be too early to be thinking about holiday season shopping, but with Thanksgiving not too far away, it might be a good idea to think about what you would like to give to your loved ones. With Christmas fast approaching, you would already be planning all the cool shopping. After all, Christmas is more about shopping and good food than anything else. You could go ahead and get this Christmas bauble which comes for a mere £82,000. In fact, it is so cheap that it has already been given the status of the world’s most expensive Christmas bauble.
The tree decoration accessory comes with 18 carat white gold and comes with nearly half a thousand diamonds. Your Christmas night is going to be special with the decoration glittering away. You would however have to make sure that your guests do not try to walk away with your expensive decoration when you are busy serving them dinner or when you are cooking in the kitchen.

We like festivities. First it were the orange pumpkin faces adorning the decorations and now they have given way to the Christmas-sy stuff. It is always exciting to hang that first bauble and if the object in question comes with a $136,000 price tag, then you can actually photograph the event in your memory. Well, a very beautiful bauble made from 18 carat white gold and decorated with one and a half thousand sparkling diamonds is creating a buzz in the luxury markets.
A real treat to the eyes, this spectacular piece will bring a whole new shine to your Christmas with a big hole in your purse, but who cares as long as you can enjoy a festival a bit more than usual. Apparently, diamonds aren’t the only precious stones used atop this one. In fact, there are some 188 red rubies too that shine on the two stunning rings of 18 carat fat gold wire revolving around the bauble.

This might be just August for us regular folks but designers like Christian Louboutin have already reached December it seems what with all the Christmas prep. We are referring to the stunning new Gold Gift Bag by the designer which apparently will not be launched before the fall/ winter 2009-10 collection. And that’s just one reason why we are recommending it as a cool Christmas present for your pretty lady.
The bag is quite a fashion whoppa to say the least. It is done in the color gold all over with a big bow sitting on the side that really does steal the show. But there is some more. If you are one those addicted to stilettos, then you will be thrilled to see the shoe-shaped clasp sitting atop the handbag.

Reports have suggested that the sales of bottled water have slowed down lately because of the economic slowdown. But we saw two fashionable acts of bravado recently. Well, Love H20 is a courageous brand that came up with its own limited edition of bottled water that is stored in beautiful Swaroski crystals encrusted bottles. And the even braver ones were six people who actually bought a bottle for $2,330.
The luxury brand sources the water from Wenlock Spring Water in Shropshire. And the much talked about bottles are reportedly crafted by hand and took one week to produce. Right now, the six bottles in reference have been reserved and sit pretty in the Selfridges stores across UK and will be delivered to the purchasers after Christmas.

Christmas is that time of year when even Uncle Scrooge comes off looking like a generous person. It brings out the best in everyone. Or so I thought.
This Christmas, the world views not just the best but the worst, too. As Japan dazzles us with the most expensive Christmas tree, the most pathetic version of it was uncovered in County Durham. The elite Christmas tree is on display at the Ginza Tanaka jewellery shop in Shinsaibashi, Osaka, as an audacious disregard to the recession. The shimmering 24k gold tree is adorned with 240 jewels of pearls and diamond hangings among others. Weighing at more than 21kgs, the tree is worth a staggering £1 million. On the other end of the spectrum, the Durham tree was so pathetic that that it has been called a disgrace by the residents.
