We know that China is known for inventing weird gadgets and gizmos but this submarine built by a regular inventor deserves a look. Tao Xiangli, a 34 year old amateur inventor built himself a submarine all on his known without taking any help or guidance from anybody else. Although he claims that he is just an amateur who likes to invent small things for himself, his invention of this submarine pretty much shows that this guy is way too talented to be just an amateur inventor.
Apparently, Xiangli spent two years and 30,000 yuan, which is approximately $4,385 for this individual project. The submarine is driven by electric motors and propellers. It also has some extra fixings including a periscope and a depth control tank. This is quite amazing and appreciative to actually have carried out this unique project all by himself.

The oh-so-extravagant Indian wedding dresses will also shy away (you can well imagine the reaction of the other minimalist white versions popular in other countries) at the sight of this new Peacock wedding dress that was unveiled at the wedding expo held in Nanjing, the capital of east China’s Jiangsu Province. And this one is as royal as it can get!
Made with close to 2,009 pieces of peacock feathers, this dress was finished in two months and kept eight handicraftsmen busy day and night. It might appeal to the lover of the unique for it is indeed rare to have a wedding dress with the peacock motif. It will definitely make you look like a million bucks.

There is no dearth of coupe concepts but only few aims to meet the needs of middle class gentry. As China persists to slope up its grade as a developed worldwide authority, lately it has designed a revolutionary auto solution concept targeting the middle class. Hailing from Beijing, the nameless car enables the coupe’s body to rotate with the course of travel in the same way as a motorbike does when rounding a curve to compensate centrifugal strength. Designed and developed by Huiwen Ji, the diamond exterior and Bat-Pod-esque wheels declare it aloud that only nerdy car aficionados can afford to burn the road by taking a tough ride over it.

Till date, I have played countless distinctively designed elite speakers at EliteChoice, but call it my hard luck or absence of revolutionary CD players in the markets that I hardly have any of them here. But now the unveiling of CD-T300 Pro CD player resembling an UFO by a China-based firm called Shanling has opened an entry gate for me. The firm is an established name in the production of CD players with inimitable appeal and personality. The CD-T300 Pro features 4 amplification valves, gold-layered tube legs, and 2 remote controls and not to ignore the way it glares at you.
Designed using aluminum alloy, the CD player weighs 24 pounds and radiates a blue glow for that blissful feel when someone fingers it.

And thanks to me once gain for putting you across world’s most expensive yo-yo here at EliteChoice. This is one of the efforts to run actively my initiative of world’s most expensive things. How much it got sold for? Obvious question that deserves an instant response: It generated sales of $16,000 during an auction. Now, for those who are illiterate about the existence or evolution of yo-yos, I have something to enlighten them. Invented by the Chinese ages back in 2500 BC, it is a newbie that has reached this level. Developed and designed by Hasbro using airplane-grade aluminum, the Cold Fusion yo-yo was structured using a ball-bearing axle & break pads for quick retort. Besides using high-grade aluminium, the USP of the yo-yo resides in its longest recorded yo-yo spin.

If you are tired of making visits to ordinary hotels spread over some XXXX-foot of area offering XYZ and plus-minus store of facilities, then here is the sure spot destination to put an end to your hunt. Thanks to Atkins first for applying all his levels of imagination and erecting a magnum opus that has bagged an award in an international competition to design a five-star resort hotel located within gorgeous 100-meter profound quarry in the Songjiang district, near to Shanghai in China.

True, from the pictures featured here, the hotel almost looks unrealistically picturesque but it is all set to prove its reality feel on its completion by May 2009. The revolutionary concept is stimulated by the natural water and scenery featuring quarry, thereby arresting the wild thoughts of judges to nullify opposition from two other global firms. The excavation will shield it from the unexpected weather conditions and would cut down the energy requirement of the hotel. The complex would be equipped with restaurants, cafes, sport facilities including undersea public areas and guestrooms in addition to offering conference facility for up to 1,000 people.

The inventive drawing of the 400-bed resort hotel positions two levels advanced than the rock face of the 100 meter deep quarry. Sustainability is essential to the design arraying from using green roof for the arrangement above the ground level to geothermal energy withdrawal. A marine theme runs through the structure both visually and functionally. Two submarine levels will accommodate a restaurant and guestrooms facing a ten-meter deep aquarium.

The lowly level of the lodge will house a leisure compound with a swimming pool and water-based sports. It also offers space for activities like rock climbing, bungee jumping and others.
