In the times of health and food consciousness, most of us are busy looking for an eatery that serves delicious food but served in the right potions at an affordable cost. Now, it is indeed very difficult to find a place that fits in all three benchmarks. But now anymore. Our search ends with Minnies. This new restaurant is here to make delicious food in miniature size to ensure we eat healthy without putting on a few extra pounds.

Now, this isn’t a truly novel idea for we have been spotting the bite-sized burgers on menus for some time now. But Minnies has gone a step ahead by further decreasing the sizes and widening the range of food from just burgers to sandwiches, salads and even pizzas to name a few.

Some of the dishes come in servings of 3 miniature snacks while others come in singles with side dishes. We also hear that the Minnies restaurant in Chicago is a hot favorite with Barack Obama too. However, franchise opportunities do not seem to be part of the plans  with the folks at Minnies. Well, sitting in a different part of the world, we do wish they were!

Chess sets come with all kinds of innovations but Steve Vigar knows how to set his work apart from the rest. We are talking about the beauty of a chess set that he has designed that draws inspiration from New York, Chicago and LA. Yes, to put it straight, he has featured the most famous landmarks from all three cities, including the residential housing models posing as the pawns while the skyscrapers get place among the elite in the second row.

The gorgeous pieces have been laser cut and handcrafted from the finest light or dark wood; there are two options for you to choose from. And with such spectacular chess pieces, no doubt there was a lot of pressure on Vigar to make the board so that it complements the rest of the chess gang. So, the elegant board was made from solid zebra wood and Asian evergreen.

We are guessing that the rivalry between these metros of the US might just see a new side of their togetherness in a friendly game of chess. The chess set comes with a price tag of $2,100.

The buzz about the 2012 Olympics would stay alive until the game gets over. If it one end, the debate is about the proceedings scheduled then the other worth-considering issue seems to be the demountable nature of the erected stadium. Idea is to reutilize the stadium after a particular event gets over. If it happens it would be the first ever step with a revolutionary approach that would keep the cost within budget and invite poorer countries to play host. Folks, don’t doubt it to be a travelling circus. But how is it possible? The prospective stadium needs to be constructed using flat pack materials like an Ikea bookshelf that allows it a free movement to another Olympics city. The stadium is to have a stable 25,000 seat main arrangement and particularly for the Olympics, it will install a 55,000 seat upper tier.

In this regards, London is in talks with possible 2016 host Chicago because “both cities are decisive to construct main stadiums with minute numbers of permanent seats while developing giant seating gallows for the two weeks of competition, thereby accommodating around 80,000 people.

If this thought gets materialized then possibility is portable nature of stadiums would be the demand of coming generation.
