Recent surveys have revealed that iPhone is enjoying a good reign as the most popular mobile device in the tech-savvy Japan. And there is an ultra-luxe item which is being made available to mark the occasion. One of the major cell phone providers in the country, Softbank has just launched the Japan Texture Special Edition mobile accessory for iPhone which is really an attempt to bring a distinct Japanese flavor to the widely successful gadget that almost everybody owns or wants to own.
The new collection has mobiles fitted in lacquer cases that play five different designs each paying homage to the days of samurais and shoguns. In fact, the elegant presentation cases by themselves look nothing short of a work of art.

Forget locking your computers with passwords that hackers anyways find out, its better to go the old way and literally lock, stock and barrel your computer. Designer Jacky Nicolas has designed just that, a workstation that can be closed like a cupboard and locked away till you need it again. It will help you keep all your files and documents, apart from your PC, completely safe.
Called as Cyber Box, it works pretty well at home also. Suppose you have a 3 year old curious daughter who always wants to know what Mommy is doing on her computer and sneaks in when you go out to make her chocolate shake, would you rather not lock your PC inside cyber Box rather than having her do a brilliant editing job of the article you were writing! Makes sense, no?

If those floating cubic cases and king tut inspired PC casemod fails to interest you then how about keeping fingers on straight geometrics and bring home a spherical PC Mod. Seemingly a travelling Pac-Man, the Orb is an out product of modder’s wish to develop a Pacman or motorcycle-helmet that can open a screen driven by a motor. Doing away the conventional forms of LEDs and windows, its visor is formed using two quarter-spheres, one slightly smaller than the other. Jump over for video:
They are adhesive together at a distance of 5mm of space that supports water cooling system. Great job NQ! The standing PC on its own legs seems to have come from future to break few heads and would guzzle things the minute it staggers ahead.
