The name Parmigiani Fleurer is not a stranger to collectors of expensive designer watches. Well, the designer indeed has an impressive list of coveted timepieces to his credit. And now, the man has decided to pay a tribute to the new super-saloon Galibier being made in the Bugatti workshop as well as the Alsatian automaker’s centenary.

There are two unique examples of Fleurier’s sideways mounted manual timepiece. One has been made in 18 carat rose gold and the second one in platinum 950. These are being celebrated as the two final examples of the highly intricate Bugatti Type 370 wristwatch. These were then passed on to master engraver Philippe Bondenmann who has dedicated 300 manhours into each trying to hand etch the comples designs into the cases of the watches.

The two timepiece are fastened to the wrist with the aid of a calfskin strap that has been supplied by Hermes. So, as you can see these dedications are indeed as priceless as the Bugatti supercars that we have loved and admired so much oe hundered years.

Vintage cars are one of the few things that can demand any price and get it too. In fact, many a times there is a tough call deciding which higher price option to opt for! This time around, Bonham’s auction house is conducting its inaugural annual “Weekend de l’Excellence Automobile” in Reims on September 26. And we are told that a very exclusive 1912 model from Bugatti will be the high point of the auto affair.

The car has had the privilege of Ettore Bugatti as one its drivers at Le Mans and the Mont Ventoux Hill Climb. Other esteemed owners of this classic car also include the Duke of Bavaria and the UK-based classic car engineer Nigel Arnold-Forster. Relying on that very fact it has quoted a price of $3.4 million at the auction.

The Bugatti dreamboat is a two-seater with a 5-liter “Type 18″ is one of the three surviving machines that were originally manufactured by Ettore. Also, there is more than just Bugatti at Reims which will also feature a 1937 Merc Benz 540 K Cab. C and a 1968 Ferrari 330 GTS convertible at “affordable” prices.

Bugatti Veyron lovers will be thrilled to learn that the famous F1 driver that we love so much; yep you guess it right because we ARE talking about Jenson Button, has decided to put up his Bugatti dream for sale. Just so you know the present leader of the drive’s championship is the second owner of this 2008 monotone black stunner from the famous carmaker’s workshop.

The car comes with an 8-litre W16 engine and four turbochargers. The price is pretty high at $1.5 million. Well, it sure is justifiable just thinking of the man who would have driven this roadster before you took on the wheel.

And this Veyron isn’t the only car in Button’s garage that needs a special mention. He has a great collection of several high performance cars like a Merc CLK DTM AMG, an Audi RS6 Avant, a Ferrari Enzo, a BMW M5 and a Merc C63 AMG. And apart from these, the celebrity racer is known to have own a Ferrari F430 Spider, a Ferrari 550 Maranello, a Ferrari 360, a Ford GT and a Porsche Carrera GT.

Bugatti Veyron Pur Sang is one of the most expensive cars ever to be manufactured. It has even been listed on JamesList for the same reason. Florida’s auto dealer Forza Collezione has put up a fourth Pur Sang on sale, while only three had been available of the 5 ever manufactured. It is going to come with a price tag of $3.8 million and would not be within the reach of many people. It is made of exposed carbon fiber and comes with aluminium bodywork.

It was however sold out within 24 hours of its announcement. Perhaps one could track down the 5th car, which would make all the Pur Sangs to be bought by 5 different lucky people. Even when recession is at its full swing, people still manage to buy ultra luxury cars which suggests that the luxury market is not doing so badly after all.

Perhaps it is the story of the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer. Of course, I would have loved to get this car for myself but if I were in a position to buy the Pur Sang, I certainly would not be giving all this information!

There is something that I have always loved about luxury cars. Sometimes, it just becomes a nasty way to tell people to shut up, and to mind their business as they would know you are not the kind of person to be messed with, especially if you own a high-end car and had the attitude to carry with it.

Well, the Bleu Centenaire was not the only Veyron from the workshop of Bugatti to make people drop their jaws at the Geneva Motor Show the other day. The new LINEA Vincerò came across as a wonderful surprise in its simplistic glory and unmatchable mechanical functionalities.

Worked upon by the German tuner Masonry, Veyron LINEA has an engine that is as refined as anything can be. Plus with the advanced cooling system and the impressive exhaust system, the car can easily produce 1109 hp and 1310 Nm. The interior has been accentuated with carbon fiber strokes, which gel very well with the leather seating and a cool LED ambient lighting system.

Moving to the exterior, you will find a new front fascia, a much smaller hood, gorgeous front apron, a new style of skirts and new forged wheels. Even the diffuser and the air outlets look like a breath of fresh air. Then there are the LED daytime running lights in the front mount that add their bit to the overall appeal of the vehicle. Only three of these cars will be available.

The Bugatti Veyron is one car that can be sure to be forever remembered by the auto world for its undisputed mechanical excellence. But the brand wanted to give some more to its loyals and so the special edition of the super car was born. Spotted ahead of its official debut at the Geneva Motor Show, the new Bugatti Veyron Bleu Centenarie is the company’s way of saying ‘Happy 100th Birthday Bugatti’ as well as ‘Thank you consumers for supporting us’.

Giving an impressive top speed of 273 mph, the new superior Veyron model has been done in the famous signature blue Bugatti color.
