Tumi is back in action. The luxury brand has just given us two more gems that stand for superior quality and craftsmanship in the form of the two new additions called the Parliament Brief and Windsor Envelope to the exclusive Townhouse collection. They both have been handmade in Italy from the finest available alligator skins and then lined with supple tan suede.
The designs give the characteristic refined statement that we have known to appreciate. The two cases will be available for sale only from this fall and on special order only. The Parliament Brief is sleeker one with retractable handles and a zip top closure. It is priced at $13,000. On the other hand, the Windsor Envelope has the signature polished nickel clasp closure to flaunt at a price tah of $12,000. You can get both bags together for $25,000 (we feel Tumi should have given a discount on this one).

The bizarre has a very strong possibility of being passed on as fashionable, well, haven’t we already established that so many times before! Kar Lagerfield has designed a briefcase that we really doubt you’d carry down the road but the unique thinking definitely deserves a special mention on this blog.
The briefcase in reference is called Chanel Perspex and has been created as a part of the black take on power suiting for Chanel this week in Paris. Apparently, the briefcase is a highlight. Designed for the fashionable woman, the transparent structure comes with several slots to holds a purse, lipstick, sunglasses, iPod and other ladies’ must-have stuffs. But be prepared for no privacy as the world will be able to see all that’s inside.
