The picture above features the delicate set of wings crafted from 14 carat rose gold resting on a burgundy cord. This bracelet is part of the ‘You’re An Angel’ collection sold under theĀ brand Dyanne Belle. No that is not the name of the jewelery designer. Deb Schecter has dedicated her collection to her aunt Dyanne who was one of the founding members of SHARE, a non profit organisation meant to help people suffering from breast or ovarian cancer. Dyanne herself was diagnosed of breast cancer when she was just 28, back then in 1970.
The ‘You’re An Angel’ range of bracelets is aiming to raise funds as well as awareness about breast and ovarian cancer during this month of October.

October is special. No we do not mean because of Halloween but because of a more important reason – it is the breast cancer awareness month. And David Yurman is all set to celebrate it by launching a bunch of lavish pink dog tags for his Women’s Tag Collection. Now, that’s a new one. For one, the “male jewelry type” becomes feminine that too in a shade of pretty pink, which is also the color of breast cancer support.
The picture above features the Pink Rhodonite and Sterling Silver Breast Cancer Dog Tag on the left. This has been emblazoned with the DY logo and carries a price tag of $450. On the right, there is the Pave Diamond Encrusted model which is more eye-catching of the two (though we like the left oneĀ better for it’s toned down nature and simple elegance plus it’s cheaper too) and costs $950.

As high the impact of recession was in the Americas and Europe, the Asian countries were not so seriously affected by the global economic downturn. From this you can safely assume that the luxury market for past few months have been thriving only because of the wealthy Asians who always come forward for a good luxury cause. The Italian fashion brand Salvatore Ferragamo has recently launched the Pink Collection to raise funds for breast cancer groups.
Targeted at the richie richs of the Asian world, this one is a limited collection that consists of the Ferragamo signature ballerina shoes embellished with sparkling pink crystals as well as a perfume, a watch, a T-shirt and a canvas tote. The price rangs falls somewhere between $256 and $1,060. Apart from these, you can also pick the best buy, a pair of pink satin sandals with a matching evening clutch which will be auctioned off for charity at a starting bid of $4,240.

Can you make out any connection amongst Swarovski, yoga and breast cancer? The woven thread joining these diverse terms can be identified via the Libby Ross Foundation OM Yoga Program. Aimed at helping women suffering from breast cancer, the celebrated crystal brand has inked an association with this foundation together with a set of celebrities and three mother-daughter groups.
Idea is to raise funds for this revolutionary program by adorning yoga bags with Swarovski ornaments and invite bids via eBay Giving Works. The bags for this noble cause are bestowed by Global Design Concepts Inc. The goal of the yoga program is to uphold healing and a sense of well being for breast cancer patients. It is being said that practicing yoga can help do away with the toxins from the body and now I can say that this bejeweled Yoga mat would surely multiply its benefits. The associations involved are also hosting a Sunrise Yoga class alongside the extensive 360-degree sight of New York City at Top of the Rock Observation Deck for 40 mothers, daughters and sisters who are inflicted with this problem. To pay tribute to the upcoming mother’s day, Swarovski would be donating $75,000 of the proceeds generated from pink ribbon charm and pink heart necklace to the Libby Ross Foundation OM Yoga Program.
