Apart from being known for his delicious looks, scalding hot girl and many many kids, Brad Pitt is also famous for his passion for motorbikes. And yesterday, a new customised chrome bike reached his LA home, and we are told that this one looks macho indeed but has a metal seat. Ouch! Now that would hurt especially in the scorching heat these days.
Not much has been revealed about the new toy, but we can be sure that this one will be parked confidently along side the Ducati Desmosedici RR, Monster 696 and the selection of Harley-Davidson choopers that Pitt already owns. In a recent interview, the Hollywood star revealed that his bikes enable him to escape from the attentions of the world. It makes him just like “any other biker on the streets”.

Hurricane Katrina left thousands homeless and a number of celebrities gave to charity and called out for the rest of the country, and the world, to help the victims of the natural disaster. Brad Pitt went a little further with the Make It Right Foundation, which has been trying to build homes for the people involved.
The Make It Right Foundation is working closely with international architects to develop the Lower 9th Ward in New Orleans. Apart from the expert advice, the foundation is also working closely with the community in its attempts at redeveloping the area. Although the houses being built aren’t free, they offer low interest loans and since the houses aren’t temporary solutions for the victims it works out well.

It will be no surprise for you to learn that even the art market has not been spared in the economic hard times. Reports suggest that art prices have dropped as low as 34 percent this year. However the Art Basel, an exhibition of fine paintings in Switzerland, has pepped up things a little bit. Well, it sure has earned some good bucks as well as some mileage from the media owing to the big names in its list of clients.
Actor Brad Pitt has been believed to splash some close to $1 million bucks on a rainbow-colored racetrack painting called Etappe by Neo Rauch. The purchase was made at the booth of New York dealer David Zwirner.

At the lately held Design Miami/Basel fair in Switzerland, Brad was found hunting for some exquisite and artistic forms of furniture to populate his new home abroad. And the gesture turned out into headlines for Brad Pitt as he ended up inking a pricey deal of $293,000 with a rococo styled Cinderella table. Dutch designer Jeroen Verhoeven used a solo chunk of Carrara marble to design this elite hollow white marble table. Available in counted six editions, the table gave him an opportunity to make up to news. Besides the table, his reflected an inclination towards few other unique items viz. an aluminum woven rug and a gold lacquer-coated fiberglass sofa. No matter what you say, but for sure he has his own way to experiment with his time, wealth or aptitude
