Louis Vuitton has added another item in its ‘I love’ list. No, it’s not clothes for this once. More than anything in the world, this brand too loves being pampered by its die hards. And we have seen how loyalists find ways to show their allegiance to a name. We are not talking about LV dresses and bags over here. In fact, it is a bike on the streets (maybe not literally so, yet) that has caught everyone’s attention this time.

The bike is question is an Italian KTM 250 freestyle motorcycle. And the one riding it is Vanni Oddera, who regards himself as a worshipper of Louis Vuitton. We spotted this two-wheeler at this years EICMA motor show that was held in Milan.
The spunky bike has been done up in an orange and gold combination. The graffiti on the the fenders get a great complement in the form of a signature Louis Vuitton logo seat. We are not quite sure if this bike would be up for sale. It does look pretty unlikely if Vanni would like to part with his sweetheart. But where’s the trouble., after all you can always design your very own!

For the moment, the cool thing is named the Suter SRT500, the bike’s chassis will be from the Ilmor 2007 MotoGP bike. Suter SRT500, the bike will be powered by a 500cc two-stroke V4 engine that spits out 200 horsepower.

You as a buyer can choose to customize the bike with bits such as carbon fiber wheels, race-spec suspension, titanium exhaust and other accessories. With its amazing torque, and throttle connection, the powerful bike may not need traction control.

You can only dream of owning the bike though, if your pockets are shallow. At 50,000-90,000 Euros, it is meant for the super rich. If you do manage to get the bike for that much an amount, consider yourself, blessed.

Suter Racing officials say that conventional four-stroke MotoGP bikes may end up feeling like tractors, in front of the two-stroke machine. According to them, it fills the dearth of proper 500cc V4 two-stroke engines. It certainly is not for everyone though.

In the near future, Ducati might not just only be a car for the rest of us? A recent buzz tells us that it is also going to be an electrically-assisted pedal bike manufactured by the same brand mogul in a partnership with Italian company Italwin. Dubbed the City of Pearl, this eco-friendly mode of transportation will be available in both men’s and women’s styles. Come January, and you can lay your hands on this one at most Ducati dealerships across Europe.

And to our surprise, the City of Pearl isn’t the first two-wheeler that Ducati came up with. In fact, its predecessor is known as Cucciolo and very few are aware of its existence. But this one had a small four-stroke engine that was attached to the bicycle frame.

Here are the specs on the City of Pearl. This one is all set to compete with the electric bicycles thaks to its six-volt 9Ah Panasonic lithium ion battery pack. Then there is the front-mounted 250W brishless electric motor that can propel the bike to 24 kilometers per hour. So, go ahead and enjoy being an adveturer the eco-friendly way!

The Ferrari never really does conjure the image of a stylish chopper mobike in our minds. It is always the famous Italian supercar that is known to have torn up the racetrack for so many years now. So, neither you nor we can be blamed. Because one very enterprising and, might we add, daring motorcycle bulder has devised a contradiction of his own. And he likes to call it the Ferrari Chopper.

The picture above showcases the machine in reference in its mechanical splendor. We are told that only two such bikes have been made. One has been powered by an inline-triple from Triumph. On the other hand, the second one makes use of an inline-four that has been yanked from a Yamaha R1.

And if it helps, both these bikes have been on the show circuit with a lot of mileage gained on both the Internet and in print. One of these bikes was recently auctioned off on eBay for a huge $40,000.

Brand Teague has just launched a new urban bike called Pulse. And we are told that it takes into consideration all the basic needs of cyclists today. Inspired by both fixed gears and cafe-racers, the bike as stuff that includes electric turn signals that are controlled by the handlebars. There is a luminescent frame too that lights up (which is our favorite part) when you require its aid, especially at night or at times when you want to impress a pretty lady!

The cage bike pedals reflect the pains the maker must have taken in developing the minute details of this cool bike. The pedals have been very smartly counterweighted so that they are always the right way around. This lets the biker enjoy the benefits of a three-fold increase in efficiency without having to worry about upside pedal at every single traffic light.

Loyalists of Teague will know that the company has dedicated 150 years of providing the latest, efficient and reliable bikes and their components. We are told that the designing here is controlled by a desire to recreate animal magnetism, which can be seen reflected in Pulse as well. Especially the triangle formed  by the luminescent frame is designer Dana Krieger’s tribute to the famou shape. We haven’t heard anything on the price yet. Read this space for more later!

There are several strokes of a simple genius seen in the Leather X Porteur bike like the hip flask attachment under the saddle as well as the hand-stitched detailing on the leather tube cover. The hardwork gone into making this one is more than evident. The big tyres add extra comfort in riding this one. And yesterday, a new customised chrome bike reached his LA home, and we are told that this one looks macho indeed but has a metal seat. Ouch! Not much has been revealed about the new toy, but we can be sure that this one will be parked confidently along side the Ducati Desmosedici RR, Monster 696 and the selection of Harley-Davidson choopers that Pitt already owns. In a recent interview, the Hollywood star revealed that his bikes enable him to escape from the attentions of the world. It makes him just like “any other biker on the streets”.

But so much for the passion he has for bikes, Pitt wasn’t there to recieve his new chrome bike as he was a press event to promote his new film Inglorious Basterds with Quentin Tanrantino. Buzz is that there is trouble in the Brangelina paradise, and that Brad is trying to divert his mind from all problems by biking around his new home.

Even the feminists would agree that the more macho a bike, the better it looks. Just take a dekko at the two new design models from the Minnesota based mobike manufacturer Victory and you will know what we are talking about. The Cross Country and Cross Roads are powered by a 106 cubic inch V-Twin and they both deliver 92 hp and 109 ln-ft torque. The 5.8 gallon fuel tanks have a reserve of 1.0 gallon which allows the rider to enjoy a carefree ride.

The developers inform that Cross Country is more touring oriented and retails for $18 K. Its large fork mounting has all sorts of digital multifunction display instrumentation as well as an analog speedometer, tachometer, fuel gauge, battery charge meter and an iPod ready audio system. Again, its’s seat is 26.6 inch high, which apparently is the lowesr in its class.

On the other hand, the Cross Roads costs $16 K and it comes flaunting a removable Texan windshield that helps in minimizing and buffeting. Apart from the new razmatazz, the two bikes also feature Four-piston, dual 300-mm disc brakes and their saddle bags can accomodate 21.3 gallons, a figure 70% more than Yamaha Startoliner and 25% more than Harley Davidson Street Glide.
