The well-rounded, half-egg shape is turning out to be a popular pattern with most new bathtubs today. Maybe it is the modern need to identify with natural shapes that is driving brands to shell out this specific design. This time it is ‘Ego’ by Luca Veneri doing the regular jig. It is a high-gloss bathtub that is meant to enrich your bathing experience like never before, all this while upping the glam quotient of your home decor too.

Gruppo Treessee is one bathtub maker known for its love for keeping things transparent. Or should we say translucent in this case? Well, the newest offering from the design workshop is an eccentric little bathtub that is rectangular in shape but not in the usual way. Now, we are sure we have you stumped there!
Referred to as the Vision and stylishly designed by Paolo Parea, the new bathtub is a lot of things packed in one unit. It is discreet and comes in a lightweight white or black enclosure. The best (or the worst, you decide) part is that there are see-through plate-glass panels on both sides. As a matter of fact, the interior has been designed so as to leave a lot of room for the user to stretch and relax.

If you have the means to spend as much as you desire then surely bathtubs are not just ample spaces for a dip in the water. Then usability gets superseded by style and elegance that will make people jaw drop. That could explain the bathubs of the recent past with diamond studded faucets. After all, bathrooms are now places to relax and pamper yourself.
Now, we have heard of a bathtub with Swarovski crystals intricately embedded in the design all over the body of the tub that will rule among the luxury bathtubs for sometime now. Called the Diamond made with Strass Swarovski is actually a double tub decked out with inlaid geometric crystals. We hear, this uper-luxurious bathtub is the offspring of the collaboration between Swarovski Crystals and designer baths manufacturer Aqua Mass.

The reason why the living room of houses becomes the space for meeting friends may be, perhaps, because the decor of living rooms have been changing over the years but a bathroom still mostly looks like it did a hundred years ago. You have the shower in one corner and the bathtub adjacent to it, trying to hide all the piping from view.
Panay is a bathing unit that integrates washbasin, shower and bath tub so that all three necessary pieces stand together with the piping neatly tucked out of view underneath the whole unit. Elegantly made from wood in warm huge of deep mahogany, Panay is designed by Undpartner (Austria) and manufactured by Tischlerei Gollackner. This bathing unit stands on its own, ready to become a part of any space of your choice and change the look of your bathroom.

The Vision bathtub spa series by Gruppo Treesse will take your breath away. Designed by Paola Parea, these pieces of luxury seem to be coming straight from the Starship enterprise. Though simple and sleek in pattern, the streamlined bathtubs definitely are a window to the future.
Kudos to the designer to sit back and think of something that the target audience would like to sit back and relax in after a super long day. The monotone or duotone white and black colour scheme is both stylish and ultra-futuristic.The unconventional look of one of the varieties is further accentuated by the glass sides such that you can see into the tub from outside.
