A lot has been written about the apparels and custom watches that bear the brand of Bamford & Sons. Come fall and you will see this pioneer of British fashion venturing into other pastures like accessories and recreation. The one piece to especially watch out for is the collector’s edition backgammon set. The picture above shows this luxury item which comes in a lockable calfskin case with the signature perforation detail on the leather and metal harware.
We are told that it flaunts individually hand-finished pieces made from the most fine responsibily-sourced materials like traceable skins from French tanneries. The $4,995 worth collection comes in two themes.

Backgammon is a lovely game for two players where they play on the board using dices. It has a romantic touch to it if played at the right place in the right ambience. If that was what you were looking for, you must try the Gold Rush Backgammon designed by Emmanuel David.
He has been a collector of backgammon tables for almost 20 years and he designed the Gold Rush for the exclusive Hotel Fouquet in Paris. It can also be used as a coffee table and is adorned with gold leaves. They are fixed on the transparent surface and would make sure you not only enjoy your coffee but also your game of Backgammon.

The Backgammon deserves at least the definition of piece of art. Designed by the maestro Bernard Maquin, boasts a style that speaks the languages of the exotic East. Moreover it is believed that the origins of the game are Mesopotamian. The inspiration for the author went to the world of “A Thousand and One Nights”, with geometric motifs cutting east. To get the effect 61,082 diamonds in black, white and yellow shades are used. Add to them the flavor of gold and silver in huge quantities to feel the splendor.
The bizarre jewel, which has already passed hand last year, requested 10 thousand hours of intense work. Any bargain on price?
