The royal families are loyal to the brand of Baccarat. This maker of exquisite glassware and lightings has sold many of its creations to the blue blood of France, Japan, Russia, Arabia, Morocco, India and even to the White House. Established in France in 1764, the brand has always striven to deliver ingenious handcrafted work of the highest quality to the world.

We are informed that even today the crystal used in many of the Baccarat design is hand crafted in the village of Baccarat that is situated in Loraine, eastern France. And that is the reason why these precious ices are so divine. Of all the things, Baccarat is best known for its chandeliers like the one the Maharajah of Gwalior ordered for his new Palace. This chandelier weighed a ton.

Then there were the candlebras especially created for Czar Nicolas II’s St. Petersburg Winter Palace. To match the aura of the client, Baccarat lends ethereal qualities to its creations with the incomparable luster of crystals. It is believed that nothing emits light better than the Baccart crystal and nothing tastes better than the one drunk from a Baccarat crystal glass.

I am not really sure if this is the most expensive of all the vases I have come across but it certainly is one of the most contemporary and stylish ones I have seen. The Baccarat reflex vase which has been designed by Nicholas Triboulot is postmodernist in nature and has been carved out of clear full-lead crystal.

Only five of these amazing vases have been created and each costs $10,000. It even comes with a sign and number in order to maintain the exclusivity. The idea of placing flowers in such a vase actually does not seem to occur to me, as the vase is too futuristic, not that I am complaining.

If you are really into contemporary design and art, you could get this for yourself and I am sure this would also be a great investment as art connoisseurs a couple of decades later might try to get this for insane amounts of money. Oh yes, it has been handcrafted in France of course.

A one-time shot may costs $2,500 against the cost of the Louis XIII Black Pearl Magnum Bottle, which stands at $80,000. This gives a reason enough to commemorate the precious moments by by banging off a deluxe champagne or cognac. Doing justice to the personae of filthy rich, the pricey Louis XIII Black Pearl Magnum is exclusively available at Rose Club of the The Plaza hotel, New York. It is being said that the cost of single shot is comparable to standard monthly lease for an apartment house in New York. The individuality of this Remy Martin-produced drink can be realized by the fact that it is not available anywhere across New York even as a taster.

Hand-blown from black crystal, the pearl magnum is nicely designed by Baccarat and still remains uncorked since its introduction in June. A small calculation depicts at $2,500, you can get a dose of 32 pours in the 1.75 liter bottle. Big news: Even though it demands a fat price, the bottle is not available for sale.
