Remember how much fun you had as a kid playing house with humongous boxes? If you’re looking for a trendy house with the same look in mind, you may want to opt for a container house. The 2+ Weekend House is made from containers made solely for housing.
Designed by Jure Kotnik Arcitekt for ConHouse, the 2+ Weekend House has been made especially for housing and office purposes. The house is made up of two rectangular containers stacked on top of the other facing opposite directions. This gives the upper floor the novelty of having a terrace thanks to the roof of the ground floor. It also provides shade for the porch of the ground floor. This tit-for-tat formation house may take a moment to get used to from the outside, but the interior with wooden floorboards and circular staircase is extremely appealing.
