I had never wanted a car that looked ordinary and dull. I always wanted something that was out of the ordinary and something that stood out from the rest. At the same, I am very particular about cars that save energy and that which are not gulping down gallons of crude oil.
If this is how you think as well, you might like the concept BMW Lovos (Lifestyle of Voluntary Simplicity) which has been the work of BMW and Anne Forschner, a student at the German Pforzheim University. The concept comes with scale shaped solar panels that make your car look like a futuristic dinosaur and also see all the reflective solar light and convert that into energy.

Most of us who are into photography would know that cameras that are amazingly specs-efficient are not very sturdy. Even if a drop of water falls on them, you might risk losing your camera. Moreover, when you are visiting hard terrain there is always the risk of dropping your camera especially if you are trekking up a red hill. In that case you do not just need a water-proof camera but also a shock resistant camera.
However, most of these rugged cameras are bulky and take up a lot of space. Casio has launched the Casio EX-G1 which is the thinnest rugged watch in the world and measures just .78 inches. It even comes with a 12.1 megapixel resolution and looks amazingly chic. Just because it is rugged, it doesn’t mean you have to compromise on sleekness, size or the look!

Inesa Malafej and Arunas Sukarevicius from Lithuania must love music and have a great body. The designers must love their musk so much that they can’t stop listening to music while running or working out. They have lunched the cool Dancepants Kinetic Music Player which generates electricity when you run which is in turn used by the mp3 player.
So long as you are running, you will have the mp3 player playing. If you stop running you may end up not being able to listen to music. It is an amazing idea I must say. When you are in the park, you could jog for many minutes and listen to your favourite music all along. Just make sure you hear if someone is calling out your name from behind. The MP3 player can be easily kept in your pockets.

Lady Gaga is known for her quirky behaviour and androgynous lifestyle. She is a gay icon and wants to be the next Carmen Miranda. However, she isn’t all that great and just because she is rainbow friendly doesn’t mean I m going to like her more than other talented icons such as Madonna and Kylie Minogue. She recently performed on a Damien Hirst-painted piano at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) in Los Angeles.
They celebrated their 30th Anniversary and some of the attendees included Pharrell Williams and Japanese superflat master Takashi Murukami. The piano which Lady Gaga used was auctioned off for $450,000. I am sure there are many fans of Lady Gaga who would like her for her infantile music and quirks that seem barely campy though she tries hard to be so.

We like the idea of a sweet fragrance spreading the message of peace (though we do not have specific details on the ‘how’ part of the dea;). Do not fret for we haven’t really gone bonkers. Famous brand Bond No. 9 has taken up on itself the task of making this world a better place to live in by making it smell better. And it is doing so without missing even a tad bit on the glamour quotient. Called Swarovski Purple Velvet Amphora Vitrine, this unique and shall we say ‘noble’ scent comes in a limited edition and aims to work for better fashion smell.
This 42 ounce amphora vitrine comes in a glittering bottle that is decked with not one or two hundred but 17,500 purple Swarovski crystal stones. Its gorgeous lid is shaped like a honeycomb that has also been able to accomodate an elliptical mirror too.

One person who will always remain larger than life, even in death, is pop legend Michael Jackson. The world has seen him rockĀ them with his music, dance, charisma and eccentricities. We have seen how hard his fans are trying to keep his memory alive, and frankly, we do not have a single doubt in their effort. His clothes and CDs were auctioned. In fact, he also earned a documentary ‘This Is It’ which saw packed houses for everyone wanted to see MJ in his last days, preparing for his much awaited comeback that sadly never happened.
Well, now it is a 3D version of the singer that has got everyone to sit up and take notice. Truth is that when alive, Jackson had taken 3D scans of his body with a hope to build a virtual reality body double for himself. And this very 3D scan data has been put on sale on eBay by an anonymouse person from the US with a claim that these belong to the 37 year old MJ of 1996.

The winter is getting fiercer and all you would want at a time like this is a great fireplace. i know it is rather funny to think about fireplaces when the best internal heating systems are around. Nevertheless, CalSpas have launched the Cape Pod 90 which is really uber-luxurious, if i should not exaggerate.
It looks like a contemporary villa and the beautiful fireplace-fire pit comes with loads of gadgets even. It comes with an integrated stereo system, mood lighting and a 90 degree pergola roof. Thanks to Illumapanels, it creates glowing atmosphere. The CalSpas Cape Pod 90 would be available in about 2 weeks and I am sure you can’t wait to get one for your house. It gives a 360 degree view of the fire and makes your living space warm and comfortable.

Swedish designer Henrik Amberla is known for many things and most importantly it is his Milky Way alarm clock that walks away with all the trophies. Thanks to the turning motion, it triggers a snooze function and the other way around makes it turn on the alarm function or set the time.
It comes with an extremely smooth and sleek look and when you wonder why it has been named the Milky Way, the design makes it pretty apparent. It reflects the duality of life and also of the day. The day beginning to change into a night and the night turning into day is reflective of the way the Milky Way behaves too. With a design that mimics the Milky Way, you can even use the Milky Way Alarm Clock to encourage your space voyage dreams that may take you far beyond our solar system.
