The Italian shoemakers friendship with the exotic car brand goes way back. So much so that the two are almost synonymous to each other. Now, that could be a possible consequence of the fact that Ferrari’s chairman sits on the board of Tod’s. We are not sure. It’s just speculation.

The companies’ reps tell us that the two kindred spirits have joined hands to create an exclusive line of driving mocassins that car enthusiasts will have a hard time resisting. The Tod’s for Ferrari line consists of three models that go by the names – the Lecetto with laces, Lacetto Tubi GT with tassels and the Mascherina  Griglia with a grille of the iconic 250 GTO emblem. The first one comes in colors red and blue while the latter two stick to black and brown suede.
Each pair has insoles ribbed like the seats of a Ferrari sportscar. Trust us, Tod’s has again been loyal to the playboy’s loafers style. The shoes sell for anywhere between 290 and 320 Euros.

Come to think of it, it is a pretty good thing that our favorite prancing horse can be seen on pastures other than just the auto circuit. You must have guessed by now that we are talking about one of the most popular and widely recognised brand in world, Ferrari. Well, buzz is that the company is all set to live up to its reputation of offering an extravagant lifetyle to its loyalists, yet again.

Its latest venture goes by the name of Eyewear 2010. And as the name suggests, this one is a collection of some spectacular designs of sunglasses and fashionable eyewear. Like its previous products, the new feat too is remarkable for its embodiment of Italian design, technology and high quality.
There are eighteen models for one to pick his or her favorite from. Each of these goggles draw their inspiration from the lines and details of the signature car style of the brand. All the eyewear models are rather sporty and macho at the same time. Quite a good combo, if you ask us, and definitely, not one to be missed!

Hear hear, Volvos might not just only be boxy anymore. The new 2010 Volvo S60 is the newest answer from Sweden to all the much respected likes of BMW 3 Series and Audi A4. This luxury sedan comes equipped with Volvo’s impressive and latest safety technology that also includes a new Pedestrian Detection system that can stop the car from low speeds too. This feature shall come handy if someone jumps out in the front. The panoramic glass roof also has matching ’suicide’ rear doors to go with. The swoopy styling of the car is an instant hit. Car enthusiasts would surely remember the entry from the Russian car maker Dartz at the Top Marques Monaco show last May. We are talking about the sexy luxury SUV called the Kombat T98. After flooring us with that roadster, the brand is all set to roll out yet another special that goes by the name of the Monaco Red Diamond Edition and this one costs a huge €1million. In fact, the claim is that it is the most expensive and sturdiest luxury armored car in the world. Boy, now that’s something to watch out for!

We all know that the Dartz Kombat was a reworked version of the armored car driven by the Russian Tzar, Nikolai II. On the other hand, the Monaco Red Diamond Edition is like a breath of fresh air. The matte ruby paint job is a new one on an armored car. The bulletproof windows are plated with gold, there are 22′ Kremlin Red Star bulletproof wheels and then let’s not forget the tungsten and white gold gauges decorated with diamonds and rubies all over.

The innards are lined with whale penis leather (ouch!) and is equipped with a custom Vertu mobile phone with an alert button. There are some high spirits too. We are referring to the three bottles of the world’s most expensive vodka, RussoBaltique. The car is also known as the Prombron, and will debut at the 2010 Top Marques Show.

There are a couple of things that we know about the Manchester City team apart from their being real rich, is the fact they can play a very spirited game and love with the same gusto! Stephen Ireland, the 23 years old Irish midfielder is making news for his huge spending lately. Well, the man shelled out a huge $422,220 only to busy a very pimped-up version of a Bentley for his Wag girlfriend Jessica Lawlor. Well, the occasion was a special one – it was Jessica’s birthday! No wonder Ireland wanted to make the occasion memorable.

The car is a coupe and is donned in shades of spunky red and white, which are really the colors of rival Manchester United. Plus there are several embroidered hearts too. We are informed that only to get the winged insignia changed to Jessica’s initials, JL, the footballer had to pay £1,000.

And that was not where the ‘blinging up’ stopped. An amount of £2,000 was shelled out to get the customized red leather seats with a message, “To Jess Love From Stephen” surroounded by a heart. Even the tailored bright red alloy wheels have Jessicas’s initials courtesy the £5,000 her boyfriend spent. The Bentley has a 6-liter, 552 bhp engine with an assured top speed of 198 mph in just 4.8 seconds.

The name Parmigiani Fleurer is not a stranger to collectors of expensive designer watches. Well, the designer indeed has an impressive list of coveted timepieces to his credit. And now, the man has decided to pay a tribute to the new super-saloon Galibier being made in the Bugatti workshop as well as the Alsatian automaker’s centenary.

There are two unique examples of Fleurier’s sideways mounted manual timepiece. One has been made in 18 carat rose gold and the second one in platinum 950. These are being celebrated as the two final examples of the highly intricate Bugatti Type 370 wristwatch. These were then passed on to master engraver Philippe Bondenmann who has dedicated 300 manhours into each trying to hand etch the comples designs into the cases of the watches.

The two timepiece are fastened to the wrist with the aid of a calfskin strap that has been supplied by Hermes. So, as you can see these dedications are indeed as priceless as the Bugatti supercars that we have loved and admired so much oe hundered years.

The British luxury automaker has decided to make a fresh start with much talked about Mulsanne. A little birdie tells us that the team of designers and engineers in Crewe took a crisp new sheet of paper and completely redesigned the flagship saloon of the brand. And we also hear that Mulsanne is just another beginning. In fact this new sedan is expected to form the masterstructure for the replacements of the Azure convertible and Brooklands coupe. Just so you know, these two have previously been based on the outgoing Arnage platform that had been designed in the late 90’s when Bentley was owned by Vivkers Aerospace.

The Mulsanne is a whole 11 inches longer than the Flying Spur sedan and works on an impressive V8 engine. We think it is a befitting appellation for the top of the line Bentleys. The world has seen how these have earned a sincere reputation for being high speed  roadsters for almost a century now.

The company hasn’t made any promised on the launch dates of the replaced Azure and Brooklands models. But we are also assuming that the new structuring will also affect the  sister company Bugatti’s upcoming model.
