Lately we have seen that jewelry has gradually found its way into the male closet too. But so far, it were the golds, silvers and platinums only with maybe some diamonds to go with. However, male model and reality TV star Marcus Schenkenberg is trying to change things a little. Well, he perhaps is among the first one to come up with a line of pearl jewelry targeted at the metrosexual men out there. This little endeavour (and perhaps, among the first ever) of his has come from his partnership with a German pearl specialist.
Sold under YOU ROCK by Marcus Schenkenberg, this collection has several spectacular pieces in black-silver combinations that have been designed by Mayk Holländer though we would have liked to see Marcus try his hand at it too. Holländer has made use of black brilliant-cut diamonds and highlighted those with vividly colored Fiji cultured pearls.

We have said it so many times and we do not shy away from saying it again that ‘diamonds are a girl’s best friend’. This is no exaggeration when brands and creations like the Bagues Boule ring are anything to go by. This $16,620 worth ring comes from the workshop of none other than the immensly talented jewelry designer Edouard Nahum. As for the diamonds, you can see several of them in shades of both black and white, all mounted very artisticaly on the white gold ring. We are told that the total worth of the precious ices used to make this ring equal 8.24 carats in total.
The triple ball design of the Bagues Boule ring is very stylish. In fact, it is apt enough to be worn at all your high profile dos. Trust us when we say that all the ladies will be in a state of admiration mixed with a dose of envy.

You can trust Swarovski to go to any magnanimous lengths to come up with anything you can imagine, in its crystals.
After a line of interesting products for its 20th anniversary, the brand has unveiled, not a clutch purse or shoes, but a Corsage in Swarovski crystals. The figure hugging garment has been a rage ever since Sex and The City star Sarah Jessica Parker adorned it.
For those with that money to splash around, this one may be the ultimate wanna-grab thing around. The difference now though is that it looks stunning with the crystals avatar by Ukrainian designer Verlingieri Lesya. The new label she has created it for is by Lever couture. The designer is 26 years young and got her degree at Modedesigerin, in mid-2007. The young designer is known to create exquisite design and processes with high-quality material such as Jacob Swarovski Schlepfer substances. Her effort in detail shows in this material.
The strapless Swarovski studded corsage is enhanced with 41,000 Swarovski crystals for that grand appearance. It costs $10,000, which makes it perhaps the most expensive of such pieces in the world.

It’s a rather regular phenomenon for brand Gerlad Genta to blow their customers away with their collections of super-stylish watches. But their newest offering Arena Metasonic is even more. One look at it and you will realise the many years they must have spent developing this concept. This timepiece is symbolic for holding the company’s obessession with giving their watches a musical twist. We have seen some that repeat time at your command and even those that chime at regular intervals. If we hear correct, you get both and some more in the Arena Metasonic watch.
The frame is 46mm wide and has been made in titanium as well as other special metal alloys to achieve a superior sound quality. The case indeed must have taken a long time to design what with the highly stylized construction that includes technical looking pushers and levers. Even the manually wound movement is very complex since it can be seen through the dial and caseback right behind the sapphire crystals. You can see the cute little hammers too that beat playfully when the sonnerie is activated. We have a sneaky feeling that you might need to wind this watch quite often.

What could be the limit of luxury? Surpassing all barriers in giving that touch of luxury to things worldly, an anniversary gift by her husband left Digi Foo-Kune floored. A Mughal Emperor once got an entire tomb built in marble for his wife, albeit posthumously. Luxury holidays, cruises, and diamonds are the order of today in anniversary gifting. Digi Foo-Kune’s husband took her to the Cycle Show 2009 and gave her an ultimate, yet unusual surprise – a custom built titanium bicycle.
What’s more, it has inset diamonds and 18ct gold parts. It wears this sleek look but that is just part of it. A lot of hard work went into building the bike. Jeweller Nicholas James of Hatton Garden to customize the bike. Not so surprisingly, building the bike took several months of labour to complete.
Would someone ever want to take this bike out into the open and ride it among people? The dazed wife cannot too, for a while, because the magnificent piece will be on display at Nicholas James’ showroom in Hatton Garden till December end.

The picture above features the delicate set of wings crafted from 14 carat rose gold resting on a burgundy cord. This bracelet is part of the ‘You’re An Angel’ collection sold under the brand Dyanne Belle. No that is not the name of the jewelery designer. Deb Schecter has dedicated her collection to her aunt Dyanne who was one of the founding members of SHARE, a non profit organisation meant to help people suffering from breast or ovarian cancer. Dyanne herself was diagnosed of breast cancer when she was just 28, back then in 1970.
The ‘You’re An Angel’ range of bracelets is aiming to raise funds as well as awareness about breast and ovarian cancer during this month of October.
