Move over Scuba Diving. Just diving into deep waters to experience those underwater thrills is passé. You can now ride in water, not just over it. With a Scubacraft. It is a self-contained submersible and is also a capable surface watercraft. The craft, uses an internal combustion engine to reach a dive site where it can go in deep water of about 100 feet. The Scubacraft is a brainchild of Wales engineers.
Although the water vehicle is submersible, it is not a pressurized submarine. It does not need cranes to lower the craft below water. It does not need boats to carry it into the sea. The underwater thriller vehicle is much less expensive than submarines of similar size. If you dream of owning it though, unofficial figures rate it at $ 164,000.
The craft is sure to boost underwater tourism further, and has reportedly aroused the interest of film-makers. In future, you may even expect Scubacraft to feature a dedicated filming platform, as it is in concept stage now. For the moment, the craft is available in two models – the SC3 that is in prototype form, and the bigger SC6 which is yet to be built. For both, batteries will power electric thrusters under water. Simulators that do not promise a real-life thrill no longer interest gamers. Well, why not…the standards have gone higher. The RS1 Xtreme M3 Simulator is one such mode of entertainment that comes integrated with a projector tower and trainer station that add expediency.
The exclusive components of the RS1 Xtreme have been used to create this latest version in simulators that also has an added top-of-the-line 3-axis motion actuator system. This allows acceleration at up to 2Gs and stimulates vibrations in synchronization with the on-screen action. The biggest strength of this simulator is the new proprietary patent Immersion Screen design and technology that allows the racers a true 180 degree field of vision. Also, there are the multiple high-output shakers that increase the realism by generating vibrations.

Formula 1 passionates might be faced with a dilemma because of the incompatibility between they wallets and their favorite but expensive sport that actually driving a race car become just another wishful thinking. However, if you are still willing to spend though a little less than the price of a top-end race car, a Brazilian group called Armaroli Design has developed and designed a cool new F! simulator that pretty much does the trick.
They are calling it FA5 and have attached a price tag of $34,500 (we do realise it is big, but then so is the sport). The simulator has an ergonomic design as well as the latest in technology used in the new F1 cars. The makers have integrated LCD monitors that promise 44 inches of viewable area. A Logutech G25 wheel with pedals and force feedback get you the rea; feel.

Paris Hilton is all set to conquer the hearts of gaming fans in India. Reliance Mobile has just got together with game developer Gameloft of France to create a special Paris Hilton game for its subscribers. The hotel heiress who is a big rage the world over is not really a big celeb in India, but looks like as if things will change once this venture goes on board.
The concept mobile game will let you take a rare peek inside the star studded world that Paris Hilton is known to live in. They are planning to call it Paris Hilton’s Diamond Quest and it will involve urging the player to hop aboard the celeb’s private jet and travel to the hottest cities across the world trying to find the rarest of precious stones.

The already popular game diva Lara Croft got a chance to up her popularity thanls to real life diva Angelina Jolie who played the character and it legendary. Well, that is some old news. The reason why we are ruffling your memory cells is because a customised Lara Croft XBOX gaming console is up for sale now.
No doubt, the thingy is a dazzling one owing to over 43,000 crystals that were used to embellish the exterior of the console all over. Lara Croft also gets her face featured in the design pattern and she looks far from Angelina thought that would not really be a matter of concern to gaming nerds.

The Formula 1 fever seems to be just about everywhere. Yesterday, it was the cool atomotive-inspired pool table from Unique Autosports followed by Samsonite shaking hands with McLarenSport for some F1 inspired luggage. And now, we heard of a motion simulator that too goes the F1 way. This one goes by the name F1 Showcar Motion Simulator and is quite something.
Built on a motion platform pneumatic system, this simulator stands 190 cm tal and weighs 90 kgs to give the driver the realistic thrill he or she is looking for. Again, the F1 Showcar consists of the full size 2009 chassis of a sportscar completed with an impressive composite bodywork. So much for stunning exterior, let us not have you believe that the interior isn’t anything to talk about. In fact, the F1 shaped racing seat and harness keep it close to real life.
