Then there is Bar le Duc hand-seeded redcurrant jam accomapined by a cup pf Kopi Luwak coffee to wash down the $32,178 worth Chambord champagne cocktail.

We are told that this special Chambord liqueur is served from bottle that has been heavily decorated with gold, diamonds and pearls that equal a cost of $2.4 million, which is record only topped by Perrier Jouet Epoque champagne. Hungry kya?

Well, it was his 27th birthday a few days ago. Any guesses on how he celebrated it? Apparently, he decided to cut a diamond-studded cake. Yep, this one was quite a cheesy beauty. With red icing sugar and sparkling diamonds all over, it did look extradordinary and a cake with a sense of humor and luxury. Though we really do not know if the diamonds were edible or did the guests walks out with the ones landing on the lucky slice of the cake.

And the cake did not come alone. There was a million dollar world Chopard watch as a well as a $200,000 Chopard black diamond chain that formed the gift scene for Lil Wayne. We are told that his last birthday included a bag full of $1 million in cash. From the looks of it, the singer has definitely outdone that on his 27th birthday this year.

The Louboutin X Ladurée special edition macaroons are all set to reach the market. Created by none other than the French shoe master artist Christian Louboutin in collaboration with Kind of French Patisserie Ladurée, these macaroons are to die for!

The Louboutin macaroons come in boxes of six, and they look as good as they taste. Even the box has been printed with designs of the famous shoemaker’s fashion creations. We are told that none other than the prominent Ladurée chef Philippe Andrieu assisted Louboutin on this venture.

Some of the flavors that these macaroons come in are pretty exotic like fig and date. Part of a limited edition, these gift boxes will be up for sale only by 11 September at Ladurée Harrods and Burlington Arcade Gallery. It is finally out! Uber rich chocoholics had been waiting for the most expensive chocolate bar in the world like for ever now. It went on sale this Monday to commemorate the relaunch of a popular treat. Part of a limited edition, the precious choco has been wrapped in an edible golden leaf and has got a price tag of £961.48 as well as the status of a special edition.

Even the makers realise that the this new Wespa Gold might not get too many buyers until the 55p versions hits the markets in September. Let us remind you that this chocolate went back into production only last month due to the efforts of a group “Bring back Cadbury’s Wispa Gold” of 22,000 people on Facebook.

As part of a special gimmick, Gold (we mean the famous song) singer Tony Hadley from the Spandau Ballet will be delivering the special edition Wispa Gold to Slefridges in London. We are told that the chocolate bar will be kept under lock and key, protected by a team of security guards. The Wispa Gold was originally launched way back in 1995 and was discontinued in 2003 until now.

Jean has recieved her training from Le Cordon Bleu in London, and all the knowledge gained and the international exposure can be seen reflected in the eight gourmet popcorn flavors. Yes, there is hige variety from Black Truffle & White Cheddar, Vietnamese Cinnamon Sugar to Chiptole Caramel & Almonds. There are samplers available too which comprise five boxes of assorted flavours.

Apart from the unusual way of looking at popcorn as a gourmet snack, Jean also has following the green principles to her credit. Her company makes it a point to use only organic and local ingredients to make all the products. The starting price is $30 for some quality popcorn for your movie night.

Always expect the Japanese to think out of the box or should we say circle, this once. Well, we are told that a farmer in the town of Tsukigata in Hokkaido has grown watermelons in the shape of a pyramid. Bored of the regular shape of the juicy fruit, the man decided to grow it in a  specially shaped plastic shell and hung it upside down.

So far, some sixteen pyramid watermelons have been shipped all across Japan including the high-profile Iwataya department store in Fukuoka, where it has been kept in storage because the fruit isn’t ripe yet. We are informed that the unique watermelon is 25 centimeters high and comes for a huge $555. But then so are the other exotic fruits in Japan.

Now this fruit might be out of the budget of many especially in the financial hard times. But then who has stopped us from window shopping and then dreaming about this uniquely-shaped fruit. Again, the taste of the pyramid-watermelon won’t be any different from the regular one!

As a matter of fact, the promotion part is slated for July 22 and we hear that the bartenders might just be working on a chocolate martinis too.

They have used chocolate to create the sumptous base with a fresh blackberry sitting on top holding a 2 carat ascher cut diamond. So having a sweet tooth and a love for jewelry will set you back by $18,000. But we are not told, if the diamond is supposed to be eaten. We sincerely hope not.

This new restaurant is here to make delicious food in miniature size to ensure we eat healthy without putting on a few extra pounds.

Now, this isn’t a truly novel idea for we have been spotting the bite-sized burgers on menus for some time now. But Minnies has gone a step ahead by further decreasing the sizes and widening the range of food from just burgers to sandwiches, salads and even pizzas to name a few.

Some of the dishes come in servings of 3 miniature snacks while others come in singles with side dishes. We also hear that the Minnies restaurant in Chicago is a hot favorite with Barack Obama too. However, franchise opportunities do not seem to be part of the plans  with the folks at Minnies. Well, sitting in a different part of the world, we do wish they were!
