Actually, the gadgets in question works on the fact that smells evoke memories, so much so that your thinking can be altered. So, the smell jungle observes our environment and its Quale diffuser learns to associate a unique lend of smell with a specific event. These fragrances are then played throughout the day.

The diffuser has a collection of 16 crafted smells. These pass through the piezoelectric micro-pumps onto a piezo diffuser to be blended accurately. Amanda Lepore sure has been the face for a stream of fashion brands but this time she has earned a gorgeous fragrance that is dedicated to her. For the uninitiated, Lepore is a famous American transsexual icon and Christophe Laudamiel has created a fragrance called ‘Amanda’ inspired by her.

The limited edition perfume comes in a bottle encrusted with 1,000 Swaroski crystals and will be sold in the markets starting December 6 at $950 a piece. Laudamiel claims that they have done their best to capture Lepore’s elegance, glamour and strength of character.

No wonder the perfume Amanda is so evocative. The famous red lips are suggested by succulent strawberry while yellow mandarin stands for her blonde hair, the soft and strong woods remind you of her strong personality and the glam quotient is supported by Cristal champagne.

As part of the marketing scheme, the perfume bottle will be accompanied by a booklet featuring photographs of Lepore clicked by Nico Liev duly signed and numbered by the celeb.

Known for famously stating “more is more,” the designer has just created what appears to be one of the world’s most luxury perfumes. Despite the threat of a worldwide recession Donatella’s new fragrance will retail at $2,100.

The 3.4-oz. bottle of the perfume is covered with hand-stitched white leather and it comes in a leather box with silver and gold details. Both the sheath and the box bear metal plates bear the words “Gianni Versace Couture”, in tribute to Donatella’s brother. The formula boasts citrus accents of bergamot and mandarin blended with red berries and tangerines. There’s a floral feel too with jasmine, heliotrope and almond blossom tones. The base is muskier as Tonka bean is combined with patchouli heart and sandalwood. If the ingredients themselves are heavenly singly, what fragrance would be of their infusion?

In order to give the the pricey eau de parfum something of a limited edition feeling, it won’t be widely available, just a 100 pieces. Although there are plans for more to be created upon request. It will be launched in November in Europe and in the US in December.
