We like the idea of a sweet fragrance spreading the message of peace (though we do not have specific details on the ‘how’ part of the dea;). Do not fret for we haven’t really gone bonkers. Famous brand Bond No. 9 has taken up on itself the task of making this world a better place to live in by making it smell better. And it is doing so without missing even a tad bit on the glamour quotient. Called Swarovski Purple Velvet Amphora Vitrine, this unique and shall we say ‘noble’ scent comes in a limited edition and aims to work for better fashion smell.
This 42 ounce amphora vitrine comes in a glittering bottle that is decked with not one or two hundred but 17,500 purple Swarovski crystal stones. Its gorgeous lid is shaped like a honeycomb that has also been able to accomodate an elliptical mirror too.

Brand Hugo Boss has gotten together with famous innovative design specialist Karim Rashid to come up with an ultra exclusive fragrance. Dubbed the HUGO Man Exclusive Limited Edition perfume, this one is going to be a real catch if only you are able to lay your hands on one of these for only 1000 bottles are available in the market. Just so you know, the perfume brand HUGO was launched way back in 1995 by fashion house Hugo Boss and is among the most celebrated ones in the world.
The high point of this latest offering is the bottle that has been designed by Rashid to mark the success of the scent it proudly carries within.

What does the name Natori bring to your mind? Lingerie? Can’t blame ya for Josie Natori has been providing sexy and silky undergarments for many decades now. But we also know that she does like to dabble into fragrance concoction once in a while. And you can be quite sure of its sexiness too! Natori’s new scent is a little improvement of her previous smell that she did with Avon way back in 1984.
This time around it was perfumer Caroline Sabas form Parlux fragrances who helped Natori with the new perfume which is remarkable for its heady, classic perfume mix. It is a wonderful and seamless blend of floral notes like aldehydes, rose, plum, ylang-ylang, purple peony, night-blooming jasmine, patchouli, amber and satin musk accord. Not just that, the perfume is being marketed very interestingly as a natural accompaniment to a silk chemise.

You must have heard of the celebrity hairstylist Sally Hershberger. Yep, you heard it right, this is the same woman who charges a glorious $800 for a haircut. Well, now she has developed a hair product which she promoted via a not-so-unique campaign. Apparently, a few lucky bloggers were invited to her downtown NYC salon on September 3 to unveil the Luxe Layers Protective Blow Out Gel.
Available at HSN, Luxe Layers is very easy to use. All you have to do is pump it a few times, rub the fluid in your hands and then simply apply it gently to your hair. A great way to protect your hair against heat damage. Plus it also seals against color wash-out. You can consider your precious tresses safe from all sorts of sun and environmental aggressions.

Vanity isn’t the prerogative of the women kind alone for now the secret’s out in the open that men enjoy pampering themselves as much. Exquisite (and manly) perfumes and fragrances included. And if you are on those for whom price really doesn’t matter as long as you smell good, do check out the new Paco Rabanne 1 Million 18 Carats LUXE edition perfume.
Created for a selected few (money is the only criteria), the perfume comes for a huge price, $57,000. It is a heady mix of sexy blood orange, grapefruit, cinnamon, mint, rose, spices and light leather with strong hints of white wood, patchouli and amber. One whiff and you will know how much care and time perfumers Christophe Reynaud, Olivier Pescheux and Michel Girard have spent on this one.

If the pretty ladies felt left out when the House of Lalique came up with famous masculine Encre Noire fragrance in an enigmatic black crystal block way back in 2006, now is the time to smile. The brand has decided to win your pretty hearts too with a feminine version of the same scent, which will be launched by September this year. Insiders reveal that a lot of mystery and charm can be expected from this forthcoming product.
Apparently, the delicious smell will be packaged in a black falcob that would read Encre Noir Lalique on one side and Pour Elle on the other. Yes, you guess it right. This one is a definite limited edition with the stunning falcon made from crystal complete with golden engravings. The outer box complements being made in wood and painted all over.

La Prairie is without a doubt one of the most expensive brand of cosmetic products. Their latest offering, Skin Caviar Crystalline Concentrate, does not carry a very high price tag (we still haven’t forgotten their $1,000 worth moisturizer) but it does boast of a diamond essence that will make you skin glow like never before.
Other ingredients in this beauty concentrate, excluding diamond of course, include mica and quartz crystals along with amino acids, plant extracts, peptides, caviar extracts as well as La Prairie’s exclusive Cellular Complex. All these combine to make this nutrient ultra-beneficial for the skin health. It brings back lost elasticity while adding illumination to your face.

Don’t go by the doubtful name of this cosmetics brand. Rather go by its products, and the latest among them will prove to be a value addition to your vanity case. We are talking about Two Faced Cosmetics. And yes, their Lockdown Creaseless Cream Eye Shadow is a combination of their eye-primer with a subtle eye shadow that gives a perfect base for a daytime look.
A very handy cosmetic, this one lets you save some time from your morning make up routine. You can pick from six shades that primarily range between browns and pinks. We think, the brand might just venture into more colorful arenas in their next production of the line.

Ok, so you have planted your house with a rocking surround sound system and plasma TV. The lights further add to the ambience. Right? But one thing is missing — smells! And that is where designer David Sweeney steps in. He presents a way to treat our nose to a virtual reality which he likes to call the smell jungle.
Actually, the gadgets in question works on the fact that smells evoke memories, so much so that your thinking can be altered. So, the smell jungle observes our environment and its Quale diffuser learns to associate a unique lend of smell with a specific event. These fragrances are then played throughout the day.

Amanda Lepore sure has been the face for a stream of fashion brands but this time she has earned a gorgeous fragrance that is dedicated to her. For the uninitiated, Lepore is a famous American transsexual icon and Christophe Laudamiel has created a fragrance called ‘Amanda’ inspired by her.
The limited edition perfume comes in a bottle encrusted with 1,000 Swaroski crystals and will be sold in the markets starting December 6 at $950 a piece. Laudamiel claims that they have done their best to capture Lepore’s elegance, glamour and strength of character.
