Diamonds will be history soon all thanks to a Swiss watcmaker who is claiming to have created watches under brand name Yvan Arpa using moon dust, parts of the Apollo 11 rocket and bits of spacesuits. Wow, what a cool way to stand apart from 599 Swiss watchmakers!
The use of ‘inaccessible materials’ really does make Geneva-based Romain Jerome’s watches a hot property vis-a-vis rivals like Richemont’s Vacheron Consantin and Patek Philippe, that too in the global economic slowdown.

Al at Coolest-gadgets is known for discovering weird, cool and now foolish gadgets. And his ongoing contest christened “Collest gadget of the week,” of which I am a savvy participant is an overt example of his passion for ultra-cool gadgets. The initiative taken by Al started with counted five-entries and today it has escalated to a level that he has to limit it to 10, thereby putting the overflow of entries on hold for upcoming week.

Al from Coolest-gadgets last week introduced me to his running series of Coolest gadget of the Week (cgotw). With still some time left in my hands (Thurday deadline), I was fortunate to participate in there. And the king of the contest disclosed yesterday is Broadband Internet-Driven Car. Having bagged 26% of the total votes, the Broadband Internet feature in a car was considered to be an overt choice.
